I believe the Primae is intended, apart from being a special collectible, to be used for PI. IIRC it has a special cargo bay specifically for PI stuffs. So...not incredibly useless after all. Unless you don't do PI, but then on the other hand a Titan is useless if you don't do nullsec alliance warfare.

Don't forget T2 haulers if you use them all cloaky and approach the custom offices at the right distances and speeds.

Using faction armor modules in the low slots makes it great for lowsec PI. You can really get a good tank on them. In fact, I'd even think they'd be good enough for nullsec PI. |

You cannot interact with the customs office while cloaked. Its a moot point unless you do PI in low or null.
Either way, you are vulnerable to being killed while interacting, and are sitting on an easily warped to celestial object. |

I use them for new PI toons until they can fly a hauler a day or two later. It means I can get a head start on establishing a small colony while training at the same time.
(but even so, the cargo capacity of both holds does kinda suck.)

Accept the cargo hold on the thing cant hold even 1/3rd of the PI goo you pull off the planet.
As usefull as a Nike shoe that has an attachment on the side which will hold a water bottle. |

Best thing they could do to the pile known as the Primae is let it act as a personal customs office. Which would make is semi useful for low/null sec because you could just do your PI from a random point near the planet.

The primae is the only industrial ship a trial account can use. I worked this out after hearing someone moan that they wanted to try PI on a trial account and there was no ship large enough to take the command centres that a trial was permitted to use. |
