I know the devs blogged about taking out the T2 BPO lottery for good, however I did not see any details in the patch notes.
Is it safe to say that the lottery will still exist after the patch?

It is safe to say the T2 Lottery is over. I haven't seen the agents latest list, I know for a fact that most stuff has been given out, there were a few items left in one field - dont remember - thats about it.
But, T2 Lottery has effectively ended.

Have they said anything about whether or not there will be more T2 BPOs for items in the future, or will it all be invention + the older T2 BPOs from now on?

of my five research agents, the only one that still has "predictable" bpo drops is the Electrical engineering one..
so.. t2 drones, t2 crystals and other junk..
guess if I get one I can sell it to one of the monopolies for bank and keep the free market going ;)
