The lottery is on going, from my understand how the system works, its more of random people are picked at random times.
The Lottery is suppose to end with invention to take its place, no "date" has ever been said.

After the current round of prints is out, the answer is "never". Also, no new t2 BPOs are coming out in Rev 2.0; just t1, and things we can invent , like ammo and drones.
As it is, lots of stuff under Electronic Engineering was left at downtime, so we might all come back to find that every print was shoveled out the door during the patch.

Last I looked (4 hours before patch) there were still 18 entries in electronical enginnering an 9 in mechanical enginerring, but those in mechanical engineering wer in electronic too.
As I haven't checked all the fields it is possible that htere are still some scattered t2 BPO in some field (the 17 javelin missiles was still there). Probably the modules no one want to sped teen of thousand of RP for.

My Matari agent still had stuff in Electrical Engineering, drones I think...
Once everything is gone from the current lottery its been said there will not be another one.

Exactly. Now, after the last prints roll out, watch datacores crash harder than a drunken dev at the top of a flight of stairs... while having two broken hips.

if you have no patternable fields in which your caldari agents are researching then you havent got a chance of wining something. there are still agents who are seeding t2 bpos atm and the lotto is supposed to end soonish. as said previously this is the last ever T2 lottery and it will be replaced with invention.
