Sometimes I am reading the news and events of the EVE world. Reading those turned out a question which might interest a couple of EVE users..
Do those world news and events effect the game play in any way? Do this messages interact in any way with "real" happenings in the EVE world?
Kind regards

So if they affect the gameplay - in what way?

Well, for example the news are often about events that actually took place ingame. Like the "INNVA scandal causes ruin" event in caldari space, where the player corp Omerta Syndicate did participate.
Or the "Federation birthday celebrations" in gallente space. What is described in there, actually happened.

Well, I gona be honest: I play the game for 2 1/2 year, but I never, ever, see any event.. or meet (ingame) someone who was in an event. I know that are some "tips" int he news, but I think I so bad in english to undestand what / where will be. I really would like to get in, but what can I do? Someone could post your personal unestandable tips to help the "no-english" players. Or thie event droop soooo fancy loot that nobody say about it clearly? Thank for help, and btw, I¦m braziliam, and I geting some english leasons.. Maybe this help.. let¦s see..

Event ships do not usually drop any fancy loot, I've been on a few in my 3 years playing EVE and have never taken away anything that wouldn't have dropped off a typical player ship.
A good event is about a story, not a quick loot gank. I think the best way to hear about events going on is to sit in the race chat channels ('Minmatar' 'Caldari' etc) and to hang around in empire. Being in a roleplay corp/alliance will probably help to pick up information as these groups focus on what happens in events.
Just please don't approach events as a way to make ISK, they should be about the game's storyline.

Living in a Region which CCP seems to have promptly forgotten also "helps" to miss events... I wonder when the region in question will catch something worthwhile, before that we just need to have our own "fun"...

Sorry Ugleb, But I not looking for good itens/fit, I¦m really looking for the event itself. I just mention loot because I heard sooooo few about event than this could be a reasom to people not taalk about it. But the main question persist: The only tips about events are the news? No other source?

Well, no. The News are often only published after the event finished. I just gathered the same information, you're looking for, so here are some hints:
The ISD Department running events is named Aurora. You can visit their website and get some useful information about how events are run, when in the past events were done etc.. www.eve-aurora.com
Aurora is often using characters from npc corporations. As you can read on their website, there are different ways to know when or where events occur:
- They post on the eve-online forums and leave information like ingame chat channels where they will appear during a planned event. Forum channels:
Events Intergalactic Summit
- just having luck and being in the system when an event starts. Imho most of them happen in or around the smaller trade hubs
- Through hints from previous events you have had the pleasure of being in.
- being a member of a roleplay corp or even alliance helps alot. Here you can find a list of roleplay corporations and a way to contact them. If your corp has made itself a name in rp community, Aurora might even approach you to offer your corp a little event arc (like happened recently for Omerta Syndicate and the INNVA scandal)
- get in touch with the existing roleplay community. A good way to do this, are the Intergalactic Summit forum (here in the eo-forums), or the chatsubo forums.
- be in the right ingame channels. Like:
The Scope (seems dead for me tbh) Events one of the empire faction channels, like Caldari, Gallente, etc..
one of the more populated player generated ingame rp chat channel. Here you find a short list of available channels.
One last thing, there also is a short Knowledge base article on events in general: Events
Hope that helps..
