Drutort	Posted - 2004.01.15 22:50:00 - [1] Edited by: Drutort on 19/01/2004 02:04:39 I dont know what is going on... but this lvl2 lai dai agent q with my skills only 8 has now asked 4 in a row homeless missions!! you know how expensive these things are in some regions 200k+ per each and she wants 18-20 of them i only get 9.75RP with here because its one of those skills without a bonus and i only have that skill at lvl2 because i dont care about this agent too much... since im going for a lvl3 that has high Q the point is something is messed up... i told the 3 missions that i didnt want to do them and now i just had another one all in a row!! i declined of course its not worth it for me to spend millions on homeless just to get some 9RP and i think that the lvl2 agent with only lvl1 for a skill should NOT be asking homeless or other things that cost so much!! the freaken BP IF i ever get one will not even be worth it at the end if i buy that many homeless etc... I dont mind doing all other missions but these homeless or other missions that might cost way too much for the points. ===========update now its up to 6-7 i forget but i got 2 more in a row support Idea: QuickInfo an alternative to ShowInfo my MoBlog

I have got 3 and 4 runs of hmeless ina row, and basically it can be best just to click fail mission immediately, so timer for next one starts, you dont get any penalty, excluding the fatc you dont get that days bonus, the research continues at the background rate through out Oberon Incorporated.

Not worth the hassle. ya no joke... first when i started it was ok didnt get any homeless missions, got all kinds to do... then all these started to show up and 4 in a row!!! i got enough slaves as i do caldari navy and i do some of those missions and i get slaves etc... but they dont work... which i dont know what is a big diff between a homeless and a slave in eve... since they dont really do anything but have diff names LOL... maybe the slaves would be set free after they did some work support Idea: QuickInfo an alternative to ShowInfo my MoBlog

When you check mission objectives you will see you're expected to deliver the homeless. (had the homeless r&d mission just today myself, btw. On average it seems every second mission is about them... but the transport homeless missions are quite rare :/
Capt Dragonstar	Posted - 2004.01.19 13:32:00 - [14] I've also had this homeless mission 3 times on the run now requesting 32,28 and 32 so in 3 days he's wanted 92 homeless i had these in my hanger but it's taken me over 4 weeks to collect this many from the deportation missions. How your supposed to keep up with this demand i don't know without spending millions. I just hope i've not got this mission again once i get home. In space no-one can hear you scream, Unless you leave your comm on.

It's unfair when an different races research the same field of research, e.g. Nanite Engineering. While the Caldari can't put millions into his research, buying 40 Homeless every other day, someone else has no trouble buying the same amount of Lifestock. I'd call that unfair. And we Caldarian 'lose' RP's because we have to reject missions at times as we just can't afford it. I went to my level 2 agents, asking for missions and rejected them unless they're important (in which case I do them) or Vagabond Deportation (in which case I fail them). I don't think that has been the way they intended research to work. 'Life on Earth might be expensive, but it does include an anual free trip around the sun'

I've done all the missions, haven't rejected a single one. I have already spent 13million in almost three weeks, and still nothing! I went on the help channel and *****ed... sure that wasn't the right forum to express my frustration, however, it did feel good to complain out loud to a live person. I was called a whiner! Well HELL YES I'm whining! This is absolute crap! Look, this is the first RP game I have ever played. For the most part I still like this game, but itÆs getting old, for the simple fact that itÆs a game! We've all played games we've enjoyed, played them over and over again, until one day the game became boring! I'm afraid CCP is trying to hard to make this game an extension of life... The more things change the more they stay the same, so the more "boring" the game becomes. As of yet this game hasn't completely lost its appeal, but I find myself not wondering what I can do to improve my character inside EVE. Then on top of that, because CCP has decided to implement a patch that was meant to improve this game... then they make it damn expensive and hard to reach. (Meaning it takes several millions of isk, and it would appear several weeks of play time... to see the new benefits of the patch! Or basically spending countless hours on a bet!) I am not ready to quite this game just yet... but I feel, if things don't change soon... this game won't be fun anymore... And like all games we've played in the past that stopped being fun... I got about 60 +/- homeless last night in about a 3 hour span (Duvolle). Edit: should mention that involves me just wholesale failing the mission and keeping the homeless, not the extras that stay around when complete it the right way. Note to self: Sell hoards of homeless before they take over hangar, smoke all my Fed Navy Cigs, Drink all my U of Caile booze, abduct my Damsel, and do who knows what with all that livestock I ended up with. -- TomB: End the speed-race. 1 propulsion mod allowed, make turrets affect ship attributes like +speed/+ab speed +agil for progressivly smaller/lighter turrets, -speed/-ab speed -agil for long-range.

It's the Caldari research agents that are asking for the homeless, and doing Caldari missions has a habit of lowering Gallente faction. I'm sitting around -1.7 now with Gallente, I don't think they're hire me. lol This whole homeless mission thing is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. 30-40 homeless for the average mission for me, and even at 100k a pop, that's 4 million ISK minimum. I've probably spent around 50 million ISK on homeless people. After 10 homeless missions, it's too late to back out of the research game and if I don't get anything good out of it, I'm going to feel very disgruntled after all of this effort. -------------------- Newbie for life!

I donÆt suspect I will get a good T2 BP, but thatÆs not the point. Because of all the money and time I have spent on this agent, I canÆt quite! So I am stuck wasting millions of isk on this person, when that is in a wordà Crap! I would love to jump to the lvl3 tech agent I can now use, however, if I do, all that time and money is lost foreverà And to top it all off, the lvl3 tech agent will ask for more, so basically I would be throwing even more good isk after bad. And gawd only knows when I would see a benefit. Now my story isnÆt as bas as some of the people I have read about in this thread or in others. However there is a reoccurring theme that should be catching the eye of those in charge. But, anyone who has had issues within this game knows CCP tells you to deal with it! CCP if youÆre listeningà help me (and others I am sure) to love this game again! If nothing else flood the market with homeless people and bring that cost way down. I can understand that all good things come at a price and can take timeà But the lack of leadership and direction is becoming to much to bear.
