I can't start Rev II because it says that I have to run with admin rights to complete data migration.
But I am Admin on my system. I tried by Administrator login, too.
I get every time the same message. Starting up EVE will not work because it says that the client session in corrupt.
I have no idea how to startup with my old settings.

This seems to be a serious problem for many players.
I don't want to reinstall EVE and redo all my settings ... nightmare.
Can CCP give us a solution for that, please!?

Here we go:
01 Shortcut Target changed in my case to >>> D:\Games\EVE\eve.exe /end /LUA:OFF
02 rename "capture" in EVE installation to "capture_BACKUP"
03 Start EVE by Shortcut
EVE starts up and creates in
C:\...\My Documents\EVE
> capture
> log
I moved from "capture_BACKUP" into the new "capture"
> Portraits
> Screenshots
I moved into the new "logs"
> Chatlogs
> Gamelogs
> Marketlogs
Deleting +capture_BACKUP˝ and starting EVE again will work fine without an error now.
All settings are fine. Just windows need to resized and moved.
Damnit ... I hate that kind of nerd-research!

You need to run Eve with the "run as administrator" its a feature in Vista.

You need to run Eve with the "run as administrator" its a feature in Vista.
Doesn't work.............I have even turned off UAC and it still doesn't work. Come on CCP get your finger out and issue a workaround instead of waiting for your clientbase to do it for you.
