As found in the patch notes to circumvent the new storage of files.
Quote: Client Changes Changes to user settings, capture and logs :
In Windows XP & Windows 2000: * User Settings : C:\Documents and Settings\%user%\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE * Capture and logs: C:\Documents and Settings\%user%\My Documents\EVE
In Windows Vista : * User settings : C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE * Capture and logs: C:\Users\%user%\Documents\EVE
This can be reset to the pre-Revelations II location by adding: "/end /LUA:OFF" after the "C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\eve.exe" target in the target box in your shortcut. After this adjustment, settings and data are saved as they were saved pre-Revelations II. The shortcut should appear aS follows: "C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\eve.exe" /end /LUA:OFF
I've tried that on both computers i have and both the dual account computer and the single account computer will not write their logs to the original place. Meaning the dual account computer get's both logs mixed on the C drive.
Please find/discover working solution as my flash C drive won't hold much log. Especially from 2 Clients at once. Raindrop
It only takes a raindrop to cool the market.
100% Carebear and loving it. Trader. Hauler.

You are referring to older patch notes. Correct:
Quote: The location of the settings folder can be forced to remain where it was stored prior to Revelations II. This can be useful when connecting a second client to a test server and not mix settings between the clients.
So you can keep your settings but everything else seems to be moved to new locations.

I used what they suggested and it works like it should.

We still don't have the answer on how to move EVERYTHING back.

1. Can't login too. My client says it needs to be run with admin rights - my user account has admin rights. If I try to login it gets fast through the status bar and then I'm still at the login screen like I never tried to login.
2. I don't want any settings or cache on my C: drive. I separated my system in different partitions, to get as much as possible away from the C: drive, only windows resides there, and that should not change. Especially as this partition is just sized to keep windows, the pagefile.sys as a minimized free spare room. I hate that if a program claims space on C: drive without the possibility of customizing that. I don't want anything there except windows.

make sure you don't put too many "s and have the correct spaces. oh and when you do get it to work, it deletes all your settings (graphics, chat, overview, etc).
oh and ccp the next time to do this give us a damn option in settings that we can check so we don't have to go through all this bull****.
