So, since the RevII update, I haven't been able to log on. I tried a couple of times before everything was done,and nothing happened (duh!) SO then I waited and got the "would you like to DL the new patch" screen. I said "yes I would like that" and started the patching process. During the patch, it said i Had a corrupt file or somesuch and said I should download the full client. OK, i said, no problem...I was wrong.
Everytime i try to Download and Run the patch, a window pops up saying it is verifying the installer...everytime it says this:

I am downloading (or trying to DL...) from the official eve client page, I've tried it w/ both the 'DOWNLOAD' button and the hyperlink directly below that. I've also tried saving the download to my machine, but that doesn't work either...
I'm frustrated, someone help please!

I have the same issue ... Downloaded the full client , twice , on 2 different partitions (XP and VISTA) , and both give the
same error at CRC check .
So now i am stuck with a non working EVE subscription
Note that i tried to install using the /NCRC switch , and at about 15% installation process , the installer craps out with an error message indicating there is something wrong with the installer .
Further information : the download on the XP client was WITH a download excellerator , the one on VISTA was done using vanila Windows Vista, no accellerators installed
I hope someone comes with a solution , otherwise i will be forced to cancel subscription

Downloaded 3rd time , this time without accelerator on the XP platform, same error message
Looks like i wont be playing Eve again .
The client on Eve's web site is corrupt for all i know , 3 seperate downloads all fail on the CRC check

Solution found...
Solution :
1. Download the 27121 client @ ftp://ftp.snt.utwente.nl/pub/games/eveonline/
2. Download the 27121 -> 33752 patch @ http://www.eve-online.com/patches/patches.asp
Install both
This worked for me ... and since the client is on an FTP site , there is no way that the same issue occurse as with the HTTP site ccp gives us to download from.

I understand your concerns of downloading Executables from an external source, but since neither CCP or you provide me with a
solution or even a hint to a solution , i had to help myself.
And i always share my solutions with others.
You should be greatfull for us sharing information... it is better to risk downloading an executable (and scanning afterwards if you have any brains) then to have to cancel subscriptions. Now CCP gets my 19EUR again.
