Estar Tarns Gallente GTE Corp	Posted - 2007.06.20 18:29:00 - [1] After reading a bit through the forums, i've noticed (as always) it's all about hate, flame and stupid stuff and how everybody hates everything when a new patch is out. Now, i might not be the most hardcore Eve player, but for me, i really like this update. I think the new UI is cool, the velocity meter is cool (ok, might need a fine-tune) The new modules buttons are also pretty good, tihnk it's looks good as it is. New bar above the velocity meter (can't remember the name) looks good too. And the "Need For Speed" slogan-thing, can really be felt (you can acutally type in the chat while docking/jumping/somthing) and it does really speed up alot of things. So, anybody else who like this update, or am i alone in this ? (If i am, what a sad community then) And for people who just want to flame and get negative about this, please go to another thread and cry. Thank you »-_-»_-¡»-_ _-¡»-_»-_-»

Should be back in about ten days or so and after 2 months out i'm really eager to get back in and see whats what. That makes me happy. :) They also listen when you tell them to switch targets. Sometimes before, some or none of them would listen when I issued this command.

That makes me happy. :) the drones were my main worry i wanted a new drone ui but the fact that they mwd back to me makes tingly and lvl 5 missions are funny too

But there is a true problem for the colourblind (such as myself) too that is pretty bad , considering I can't actually see any difference at all, not yet though. Maybe my brain will soon registrate some sort of change when I press F1-X , but not yet. That's not hate. That's "desperately" as you might want to put it, telling them to make the game easier or even possible to play for us with colourdeficits. I find this strange. This is the first time ever I've experienced my deficite like this, and it's in my fave game :/ Makes my nuts ache. Edit: YES I am serious, I can't bleedin' see crap. I'm told it's supposed to be a slight light or aura or something, but for me it looks exactly the same when I press F1, as when I don't press F1. The ladies man. MY sign was wrongfully hijacked!:( Seriously, give back emokitteh. :< Oh mai GOD!

Most it's just "Well, i'd prefer it this way". Just that your skill in decrypting whine to english is at a low level Like as an example..."WTF CCP YOU SUCK!!" is easily translated into "Excuse me CCP, i have a small problem." Just need to read it in a certain...umm...edium Also have to mention that i find, rather then be annoyed by the "whines", the anti-whine comments and player hate for wanting something changed more "hate" related and "unconstructive". So yeah, i have a problem with being serious, but it's the almost smallest problem i have.

I guess most of the eve players wont experience that problem (neither do i) so i guess its to a certain point comprehensible for ccp overseeing this. none the less this needs fixing asap, everyone should have the same potential of enjoing this game. i feel really bad for everyone affected by this problem and hope this will be fixed in no time!!

Jart	Posted - 2007.06.20 20:27:00 - [14] I'm impressed with this release I must say, although maybe its a bit soon to comment, I have had no lag problems for instance. However, the patch update worked like a dream (remember the days when it took forever to get a patch on patch day?) and everything I was expecting to see seems to work as intended. I like the new UI and am really looking forward to trying the heat options out as soon as I have the new skill.
