After the patch I went to remove a pos, and found I could not offline or unancor the guns which had been moved by the patch to be outside the shield. I removed fuel and offlined the pos, everything within the shield offlined instantly, but all of the guns still say online, and will not accept unancor command or offline. WTF?
Did guns become self suffient? If so why do they still burn pos fuel? =p
This needs fixed, as you cannot move the guns around for placement, which could cause some tactical problems for some pos owners.

I am having this exact same problem, although I have managed to offline and unanchor 2 of the 8 Guns I have around my POS, the other 6 AND a Warp Disruption Battery won't unanchor.
Although, strangely enough, if I go into the POS Management interface, select a Gun that is still showing as "Online" and hit "Anchor", I get the green anchoring box that I can move around, but as soon as I hit "Anchor Here" I get a message telling me I can't do that.
I have opened a petition on this and am still waiting a response...

The same thing happened to me the other day prior to the patch. I was able to get in range (5000m) and through the tower management unanchor the online modules.
The option to unanchor wouldnt appear on the right click menu though, and the tower too was reporting them as online (mine were acually hardeners and the tower was even getting the correct online bonus).
Just ignore whats sensible and logical and try unanchoring through the tower management while inrange.

I've tried unanchoring through the Tower Management Panel and by right clicking on the Gun itself, neither methods work, but its now impossible to use the Tower Management Panel AND be within range of a Gun because obviously the Guns are now placed outside the bubble...
I don't mind waiting for my petition to be responded to, but whats worrying me is that I'm not sure whether or not these guns are actually working, i.e. if I get attacked will the Guns defend? I could test myself I guess but I don't have a ship nearby that would take a volly from the Guns...

I've got the same problem also, with a slight difference. The POS we put up before patch works fine, can offline and unanchoar structures with no problem, however the POS we put up after patch is the one thats showing the problem.

The problem I am having is that once i have onlined one gun, the other one can't be onlined as it is apparently online already.
It's the same type as one that is already onlined, but clearly it says anchored over it in space and in the management interface. Tried clicking it in space and the managment interface, neither will let me online it :-(
