Hi, maybe someone can help me here...
If you have Mining Frequency crystals, they are used up while they are used. Now, rats basically throw frequency crystals for energy weapons for you as if they were ammunitions... So - why don't these crystals get used up like every other frequency crystal? Honestly, having them last for some tenthousand shots won't hurt anyone, and maybe even give the crystals some worth...

Treat em like drone compounds and just repro any you know you won't use for mins.

If they had "crystal damage = 1" they would last ~400,000 shots

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Tech 1 mining crystals aren't used up. Only Tech 2 ones do. Tech 1 frequency crystals for lasers don't degrade, but tech 2 ones do.

The unlimited ammo issue is interesting. I think it should stay the way it is.
I wonder if those DPS calculations we saw a short while ago, include the 10-second gap needed for reloading projectile/rail weapons in the calculations?

**** off, its the one thing amarr have going for them, and even then they use the most cap of any race because of it. and then there are t2 crystals, which essentially are amarr ammo, expensive enough too. leave them alone. if anything, reduce the cap usage on lasers.

T1 ammo of any sort is rarely worth more than its reprocessed mineral value. |
