As for a problem. I found one and my corp mate found another. Things weren't showing up in the overview when you right click and say "add item to overview." My corp mate flew into a fleet battle without being able to see half the ships on the overview. I just could get wrecks on mine. Which is worse?

I have to assume it is actually something less visible... like a massive memory leak that would cause a database crash with fatal data loss...

Scanned the sg nothing there warped to it LOTS of bloody things. Jump through warp. Got away luckily
point is I never saw them on my scanner just my overview.. (and no they didnt jump in)

Good luck fixing the issue - I'm surprised by how smoothly Revelations 2 delivery has been considering the large amount of new content.
/me remembers the RMR delivery and shudders.

we are updating the server now with new code to address the issue. hopefully it will be online in 10-20 mins max.

Right on, more drunken hotfixing.
You know what? I'd rather have things fixed tbh. If these guys leave their post-patch night out to sort a problem out then fair play to them. If sb's in a bar, then I bet they're NOT on call. For em to come in and sort this out is tbh above and beyond the call of duty imho.
Drunken or not, they're sorting stuff out. 
Oh and er sorry if you meant stuff in a good way... Far too much whining going on so I wanted to get a flame in quick.

I think its due to a lag in the whole eve >.< 0.0 systems with 2 ppl had massive delays on modules  Dam just as I was going to rat >.<

i will just add that i was not drunk when i got the phone call. i am also not on call, so i do not have to do this. i came in because i love my job and i love eve.
there are many many other people at the office who would have done the same if they had recieved the call.

I'm gonna guess, yet again, that there was a serious problem (maybe with Jita) that was causing the database to hold onto data in such large quantities that it was sooner or later cause massive server-wide instability and damage. But... enough for speculation... off to tomorrow morning!
(BTW... What were you guys drinking? :P)

Question #1: If they're at the office already, why didn't they get the call?
Question #2: How many of them are drunk? That would answer #1, btw.
