you guys must be either in a great deal of pain or have regressed to the point of being monkeys with language.
Come on --- you are posting in a forum titled Crime and Punishment, the vast majority of you are self confessed pirates(read criminals) , and given the odds you would not blink to use numbers to get that all important kill mail. Its called cognitive dissonance and the condition is relieved by accepting the fact that to talk about honor in a lawless region is stupid.
So kiddies what have we learned-- next time someone challenges you to a 1 vs 1 -- call all of your buddies and nail his or her @$$. Then you wont be left with a migraine that forces you to come here and shame yourself with such a pitiful whine.
assuming that you are not a monkey and it actually does hurt

I don't give a flying **** what you think of me. I don't play EVE with the intent to get respect from the likes of you. The reason why I gave Deimos the SS was because he wanted revenge on you when you ganked him as a few week old newb. He wanted to fight you, I just helped set it up.
As to my rupture, how was it fitted improperly? Lets here it rather then just some smack talk. I will admit I am a complet newb to 1v1 fighting (to much time carbearing in emp or doing gang work in 0.0).
Oh, and speaking of smack talk, you should count yourself as lucky your not currently suspended/banned for the crap you said local afterwords. It was some of the most racist, sexist and immature talk I've seen to date in Eve.
I wasn't saying anything about your rupture fitting.
I must admit, my smacktalk after the fight was immature action (although it was not THAT bad). I don't do that usually. Well... I lost control of myself for a few minutes, cause, as I said, this happened for the first time to me. And just for the record, it was Deimos42 who started first calling me female genitalia. |

The 1v1 is not dead. In fact I took a merlin, crappy little frig out into o.o just to kinda see what I could find. On my way jumping through random systems I jumped in and low and behold there was another frig sitting on the gate... I thought to myself, oh crap it's probably an af or inty and I'm going to get owned.
So I clicked on him and found that he was in a punisher. well I thought to myself, this could be fun. So we were alone in local and the local I had just left was empty. I began targeting and opened up all weapons on his little ship. He hesitated on the gate looking at what I had brought then engaged. We probably fought for a good five or ten minutes, circling each other, giving all we had.
In the end I lost to his nos and autocannons, but I had the most fun I've ever had in a engagement.
and all it cost me was about a million isk.
See I'm not in this game to see how many ppl I can kill, or how high I can get on the kb. Tbfh I am only here to have fun. PvP isn't all about ganking a guy, it's about the battle, it's about the adrenaline rush, the thrill of the fight. The better the ship the higher the stakes the greater the rush.
But a 1v1 in a million isk frig imo is far better than a 10 on 1 where there is little to no risk of you ship being destroyed by the opposition.
Heck if anybody wants to 1v1 me in a frig, I'll be more than happy to oblige
1v1 is not for the weak, it is for the players in this game who have balls. The people who are willing to take a risk for a thrill. The PvPrs I want to fly with.

Originally by: Ion Hound Thirdly, if you cant fly a ship properly, dont fly it. Simple as that.
Yea, you were. Or were you just talking more crap?

Edited by: Omae Gaw''d on 25/06/2007 06:35:55 Now, now, take it back in game where it belongs guys...
To Slayton: It's a shame you can't see the respect most of us outlaws have for 1v1's.
To Ion Hound: There are a few rules that you should consider when taking an 1v1 as an outlaw. And it all comes back to the ol' "Trust no one".
[1] Create a random safespot for this occasion. [2] Make sure you are the one that invites him. [3] If it looks like a trap, it's one. [4] Don't ask for 1v1's in local, you're only adding to the risk there.
