Am i the only one who are ****ed about the missing skill completion mails ?
Look away from the screen the 2 second the skill finish message shows and you never suspects a thing. But seeing the flashing mail icon, and you got a good indicatonr what/somthing happened
Please devs, put that back

How about you make the character sheet icon blink.

You know, if you turn on the sound - even on low sound... Aura tells you when a skill training is complete...
Or use EVEMon, that sound is pretty loud...

My guess is they did it to eliminate the load on the server and DB caused by thousands of mails being sent every day, and silly people that don't delete them because they're some kind of trophy.
Delete your Evemails. The database will thank you.

You realise every item you keep is a entry aswell...so are you really worried about my 270 evemails or your 10000+ items?

I'm unhappy with this change.
I've collected Skillmails from L5s and 'milestones' for about 5 months now, and now I won't get any more.
But in another light it's kind of good, because now I'm part of an exclusive club of Eve players that actually have Skillmails. Collector's items and all that.

You know that sound lags you and (depending on the current build) gives me a bluescreen every 15 minutes or so?

I'd personally love to keep the Skill Mails too, I mean, the skill history is neat, but it's only good for a few months or less if you're doing a lot of short skills.
Monuments in skilltraining are important keepsakes IMO.

My character sheet icon blinks at obscure times ever since Kali1, so it does **** all to let me know when I'm not training, and I've even had it not blink when a skill ended. Evemon is the best answer, though i do miss the mails.

Everytime you look at your battleship skill it will still say lvl 5, and you need a mail to show this too? I'm glad they are gone, less crap I have to delete. Your character sheet still lights up when a skill finishes. I guess people will whine about anything.

I need a mail to copy and paste it to corp chat.
From skill history I can't copy completed skills.
Please CCP add "copy" to skill history :(
