"Here's how the fight went down from what I gather. BoB had reinforced several of our PoS's in JV1V earlier today during *their primetime. We had a gang set out to go to JV1V and do the usual PoS repping (snore). A smaller BoB engaged our gang and wiped all but 20 out of 100ish. We regroup in 77S and head back into 46-Dp. Several people were on the 9-9 gate when Shrike shows up and DDs to try and get us to jump into 9-9. He proceeds to cloak. Hrin of Merchi (from penny-arcade) manages to decloak him. Several dictors came and bubbled the place. We had some miplaced cynos, but they were eventually laid and RA and Goon capfleets cyno and proceed to whittle down Shrike. "

It seems a bit strange to only congratulate Goonswarm when most of the people on the killmail are RA.
So congrats to RA and Goonswarm. Congrats to Bob as well, for keeping their Titan on the battlefield after the recent patch.
Speculation:
From the story so far it looks like Bob "strategists" determined that using a cloak right after DD'ing is reasonably safe since the people that can uncloak you will need to leave to survive leaving only some well-tanked BS's that will have to direct the inties to the location of the cloaked titan by TS.
Of course a titan is rather big, making it more then likely that anyone with a vague recollection of the titans location on the grid will bump into it.
Anyway, good show!

Just popped in my head but do Titan/mothership wrecks disappear over time?
If they do, I'd vote to change it! They should be monuments in whichever systems they got destroyed in.. And it's not like there is so many that they would cause noticeable lag?

titan wrecks are permanent, you can still behold the d2 and ascn one
oh and very good job indeed, first titan kill with a pilot in it?
