How about an option where frigate tournements can be held in high security empire space where the rest of the Eve community can watch? Like a gladitorial arena or something?
Players could pay a small entry fee to go one on one with other pilots without losing security rating or having Concord come and blast you.
Also, what about an option for gambling on the games?
Anyone else like this idea?

It'd be nice but think of the lag with everyone going to watch.. It'd be unplayable and possibly crash the sectors like it did with the amarrian awards.

I like this idea (I've posted a similar idea somewhere on this board, but not under its own thread) Would be cool
The gambling could also be between the two fighters. They could fight for money (ie. both puts a defined amount into the pot, the winner extracts the whole pot), or for the competitors ship, or for... nothing but pure enjoyment
I also think there should be other minigames like racing (was proposed in another thread on this forum), and some regular minigames like checkers, card games, etc

I got to thinking today and said to myself: why just a frigate arena? What about a catagory for cruisers and battleships as well?
I would love to see a couple of BSs duking it out one on one.
