Jan 15th i was at work and therefor unable to lgon to eve. When i logged on i was cloned 7 hours ago after being killed in deep space.
How can i get destroyed when i am not logged on to the Server?
The Pirates corp seemed to have seen a char online at the starmap and headed to this system exploring all moons and planets in search for me.
The first message was send 20 minutes before the actual kill and the insurance was payed before i was destroyed and podded.
No "other"-petition filed reply from CCP yet.
Damages done:
Lost Tempest
Lost all 5 types implants
Lost 300 megacyte
Lost counterbalanced dam. mod
all high end weaponry like 1400mm's
loot typed 100Mn burner and MWD
many many more.
Damage is over 240M isk
Be very carefull "parking" your ship in deep space, your client might stay online while your actually not (as it should).

Then why should he stay "parked" for 20 minutes under direct threath? Such makes no sense.

Ask the GM's what Ip numbers have activated your char during the period you were killed.
Tracing an Ip number to a rough location is very simple and if it turns out that you logged on the game from somewhere quite a distance from your home (say a different country) I would say you have a strong case.
As for the petition taking time, dont worry they will get round to it, first you will get an automated response (took bout 2 weeks for one of mine) just follow the instructions, in another week or so depending on the petition load you will get a real response.
Im sorry for your loss but if I was you I would not get my hopes up, better to get a nice suprice than being let down.

i`d ask them to check ur account access log for ip mismatch if u have an static ip, els a check if some 1 els wich is not using the same provider has used the account.
they won`t give u the detailsbut could provide a yes or no.
suggest u change account password and run an up2date virus scanner to check against trojans.
maybe emailing them also with the problem including system name, char name, possible time it happend.
unless a mod has a better suggestion

omfg, that was one of our kestrel pilots  I got it on fraps and was gonna make it into a movie (can't figure out windows movie maker cuz I suck at life)
Yeowch, that's a tough break dude. Still, I got some nice footage, prolly only ever be on my harddrive though 
hope all goes well with the petition...

I guess the important question here would be..
How the hell were you solo mining in deep space?
Last I heard it was imfreakenpossible to do that without grid mining or team whatever it is mining.
Dunno though. Been doing agent missions. Don't need money right now.. I need some fricken Tech2 thingies.. !! oh..

check your comp for trojan horses, I had my account hacked and they told me that a different ip logged onto my account at those times, no damage done for me.
Its ****ty and all, but ccp cant be held responsible for you not protecting your computer.

When you succeed converting/compressing the frapsfile can you mail me a shortcut to the file so i can download it ? (or mail me the file ?)

I would but I've all but given up on this editing thing, I'm hopeless. I don't have any real incentive to learn it all so the footage is doomed to stay on my harddrive forever.
