So I was camping right? And it was going slow. But then this occator comes through and I was all like Yeah! a hauler!
so I warp scramble him and tell him to pay up but he doesnt say anything so I send my ogre II at him (I was in a Domi) and he is just camly sitting there he doesnt say anything and takes it!! I barely touch his shields even!!! and Im nossing the **** out of him WTF??!!!
So I send my alt who was sensor jamming to get his domi and we both send our ogres and nos the guy but he was a like Im not going to say anything and we still couldnt break his tank!! if I had friends I would have called them too but after like half an hour he just dissappeared WTF is that?
We were two BS shooting him like crazy and he just tanks it in a hauler! NERF!

You should see a Mastadon tank, ain't nothing short of a blob getting through that shield.
But please people, think of us poor people who shoot your haulers to make money, please fly T1 haulers again, thanks :(

A occator has 2 meds and an armortank bonus + more lowslots...If you couldnt kill a ship with a worse tank than a hac on 2 meds with a dominix...you suck.

Im telling you the occator needs a nerf! I was nossing like a madman so it must have been a passive tank. I thought passive tanks were nerfed??

Nice stats for a new guy.
But you are using thermal drones on a gallente boats 2nd strongest resist. He probably had an 'injector', a module that 'injects' (good name, eh?) capacitor into his ship so he can tank longer.

People will call you a noob for posting a thread like this, has nothing to do with them being 'trolls or carebears' really.
You posted some skills but neglected to mention your gallente BS level, so I'm going to assume that's level 1.
A couple of ogre II's can do about 400 dps against an occator with decent skills, so we're gonna have to assume the target was using 2x large tech II extender and shield relay's in low, and 2x shield rig too. Even then it will be hard but I suppose it's possible to have a biggie tank while ignoring nos. With 10k shields and a recharge time of about 100s you can still get 100 hp/s shield recharge at 60% resistance that means you can tank about 250 raw dps .. not counting peak recharge or implants..
Still not taking him down with two people with one person using 5 tech II ogres prolly says more about you than about him. You can't really expect him not to log off after a while ..

I didn't call you a noob, read my post. Gallie BS lvl 4 certainly helps a lot.
Also you said you barely got him down to 50% shields, hence the peak shield recharge hadn't even been reached, hence my 100 hp/sec shield regen (that and I haven't checked if you can even get it down to 100sec, or if it actually is 10k shields, just made some educated guesses there).
Wasps btw changes things a lot. 85% Resistance on kinetic for the occator. That's 25% better than versus Ogre II's and those Wasps have lower dps to begin with. Starting to look very likely that he would tank you and just loggofski after 15 mins.
Also the solution might just be to nerf passive shield tanking a bit more.. Or you just bring tech II heavy EM drones ..

Alright, first off: You're a jag-off for wanting to be able to pwn a ship designed to survive small gate camps, exactly like the one you had.
Secondly, out of the box, it has 60% thermal resistances. That means you're only doing 24*2*1.08*1.4*0.4/2 DPS/Drone, or 14.51. 72.57 total.
And since you've now said you were using wasps, which do kinetic. (85% resist!) And didn't mention skills, I'll be generous and assume the same levels.
24*2*1.08*1.4*0.15/2 DPS/Drone, or 5.443. For a grand whoops of 25~.
That's assuming he had -no- skills, -no- tank... He'd be anle to passive tank you for a short while. Peak "stock" regen being around 4/sec on sheilds.
Who knows, he might have had Sheild Extender rigs, max shield ops and management... (Not to mention that to even get in it, one needs max Gallent Indy skill, providing +75% Kinetic and +50% thermal to the already high stock resists...)
So yes, you are a numblet. Do at least a little research before complaining that something is unbalanced or 'uber'.

2. You were not not using all your weapon systems
3. You're not even close to max skills.
4. you were NOT dealing a Battleship level damage output.
