Riddle me this then sportsfans,
For the past two weeks, m0o have been banging on about kicking ass down in Fountain with a little help from the c0w.
Why the hell did they need the assistance of the FE?
Even more peculiar, from reading the boards, m0o never lost a ship... as soon as the FE go down, they manage to lose two?
Good game FE.
Celestial are pwning you up north and now the FA are destroying your ships down south.
Nevermind, once m0o realises how crap at pvp you are, they will soon boot you back to the bumhole of the galaxy (geminate).

I warped away in a pod, since my Blackbird got destroyed by heavy drones and torpedos. Hard to fight alone in a BB against 3 Level 2 Battleships, even if it's only for seconds (Viceroy "regrouped", drunkenmaster + Falzone came later).
So lost ship: yes. KIA: no.

You can sigh es much as you want to, face it, you are a troll:
- I haven't seen Celestial owning FE in the last days as you say it.
- Even darth solo himself speaks of FE as good PvP players.
- m0o wouldn't fight along FE and vice versus if your trollish crap would be true.
- And as for me, a few days ago I actually started to play the game again, including PvPing, so go away with your troll assumption.
To your actual question about m0o sticking with FE. Did you ever consider, that it's easier to secure an area with a combined force?
You are asking things with obvious answers and beside of it you troll.

Why did the FE go to Fountain?
Simple.
The FA fights! The NVA... logs.
We aren't a bunch of carebears, haven't you figured that out? The FA and Outer Ring Society threw up 3 blockades on the way down there. With help from COW, we blew threw the first two, and then engaged the FA in what I can truly call a breathtaking battle... something you NVA dolts avoid at all costs.
So, that's why we went. Will we be there forever? Nope.
But with M0o and FE working together, we can exert even more pressure on the FA (plus I get to check out Fountain... I've never been there before). The NVA gets a brief respite, perhaps time to re-arm and reorganize, and hopefully when M0o and FE return to Venal, you'll actually have a fleet to meet us with.
Understand now?

I think I do understand everything apart from why m0o asked/needed/wanted (delete as appropriate) you there in the first place as they have been leading us to believe that the FA have simply been:
a) ordered to dock and not fight.
b) thoroughly trounced whenever they have made a stand.
So does that mean that m0o have been fibbing in the boards or that the FE took the chance that the FA would come out at the weekend when all previous encounters (according to m0o) had one of the above results?
P.S. Please remember that I have nothing to do with the NVA, this is purely from an personal outsider point of view that I was curious.

I know you aren't in the NVA anymore, and I respect you more for that.
Let me tell you my perspective. Personally, I think the concept of what a pirate is these days is greatly misunderstood.
Think about these regional alliances... Fountain, Venal, Curse, etc... A group of corporations floods an area and forms an alliance of convenience, they then declare the area is theirs, and anyone "trespassing" will be destroyed and podded... tough ******* if you don't like it.
Isn't that a bit assinine?
In my opinion, that's mobster gangsterism... turf wars, racketeering, intimidation, and inthe case of Miso... prostitution.
Pirates are more honest about it. We claim no space (though we love to claim areas "owned" by alliances). We love to fight, to stir the pot, and in some cases, break alliances.
I think the real villains in this game are the large alliances claiming space. Why can't space be free for all? Eh?
Sure, if you come to 0.0, you might run into pirates, but that's a risk you take. We don't declare areas "closed", and thus inhibit the game experience for people.
Nope. We hope you come to 0.0. We might like your stuff...
Trust me, the alliances are the problem... not us.
The Forsaken Empire claims no space (other than to **** people off), and we work together to go at the throats of those who do. We are the "che guerva" of the game...

Interesting spiel jacob, but I wasn't asking about whether it was right or wrong for pirates to go kill alliances (personally I think it's great as it would lead to a helluva a boring place without pirates).
What I was wondering was why FE needed to go down there when m0o kept telling us on the forums how they were pwning the FA every time they did come out and how the FA had been ordered to stay locked up until m0o got bored?

I bet alot of people are wondering why we are down there.
I'm not privvy to all of the reasons, and to be honest I was reluctant to go at first, but now I'm glad we are going down there (we aren't all there yet).
I would have to guess the reasons would be the following:
1) M0o and FE seem to share similar goals... destruction of large-scale alliances.
2) Fountain is *much* smaller than the area we were pirating in. One of our problems in the past was gathering our fleet together, since they were spread all over the place. Smaller area = quicker assemble.
3) Say what you will about FA, but they will fight (eventually). Despite what the NVA braggards say, they've resorted to hit and run attacks, and are *frequently* found camping gates in .7+ space... looking for guys doing missions. We like to fight, and the NVA has adopted a new Yap-Yap-Yap then Log-off technique (people in the FE and M0o are most impressed by "lock-on" times... the NVA are most impressed by "log-off" times).
4) There is a belief that once FA is broken, we will be able to dominate that region much more easier than wide open venal/vale.
There are other reasons, but that's my own understanding of why we are there.
