may be all them new trial accounts is do to all the new ISK sellers using up all them trial accounts every time they get ban they make a new one that hurts the real players of eve.

Not true! Not true at all. I am running missions in Empire and everything is smooth and working perfectly normal. Not a tiny bit more laggy than anytime else.

Running missions in a quiet system in a quiet region and I sure do have more lag than normal, still playable, but not really enjoyable.

In the world of database's it rarely the server that causes slow downs. Its the link between the cpu and the storage unit.
CCP currently employs a RAMSAN, this is basically a storage array consisting of memory sticks rather then acual hard drives.
It doesnt get any faster then this and still be one single universe.
