Okay so we have cyno jammers to keep the capitals out right? How about a simple cloak nerf. Nothing totally cloak destroying, just a simple way to deal with AFK cloakers, and in some cases if used well, a way to combat cloak gangs.
Flash Scan Array, a structure you put on a POS, requires sovereignty so it' can't just be put anywhere. Simply it fires off a flash scan that decloaks ships in the system.
To balance this, it could take fuel and be activated manually. Or it could be automatic and on a timer, as to allow a tactical way around it in some cases. To be fair it should uncloak friendlys as well.
The people this would effect most are AFK cloakers who are only seeking to keep people on there toes while they fall asleep in a safe spot. annoying and not a very legitimate tactic, as if you want to disrupt operations, you should have to be at the keyboard to do it, not taking a name or eating dinner.
Alright that's it, I'm ready for your angry comments AFK cloakers, no hard feelings. |

I support this if you put local in null sec local into delayed mode. |

Maybe it's me because it is 2:30 in the morning but that comment made no sense... I'm going to get some coffee and try reading that again...
EDIT: Okay, still makes no sense, mind elaborating on that a little. |

Here's what'll happen:
The cloakers will whine about how nullsec is safe, and how afk cloaking is a counter to that. Then wormholers will come in and whine about how it breaks wormholes. Then they'll suggest either no local, delayed local or removing cloaked ships from local. Then I'll point out how that completely breaks the risk/reward ratio of current nullsec. Then some arguing back and forth'll ensue, with lots of namecalling. Then, nothing will come of it.
There, I just saved you maggots 15 pages of drivel. |

Did you really read my post ore just chose to rant?
How would it effect wormhole space? it requires Sov in order to anchor and online. In no way would that effect wormholers, you can't hold Sov in wormholes
AFK Cloakers can whine all they want, this idea is meant to hurt the practice of doing nothing.
Also in no way is null sec "safe"
As for risk/reward, if you want to camp a system all day in a stealth bomber and do nothing all day, then you should have to sit there and make sure you don't get killed. you risk your ship, your reward is that people are on edge all the time. Where as without this you risk nothing and only gain reward, i'd say that is more broken.
Also you are the one who is being insulting, I posted my idea, and you started to call people maggots and calling my post drivel, how about you be civil before talking about people starting name calling. |

Oh, you're that kind of special flower. Oh well, we'll see how this thread pans out in the ensuing pages. Don't blame me if I'm correct.
Also, nice "stealth" edit. |

Thought i'd stick that in as a reminder to people, not expecting much affect. Yes I did post it after most the current posts. |

So when I'm sitting in a covops with eyes on a hostile fleet sitting on a titan ready to bridge on top of my fleet, you're saying that they should have a POS module that just decloaks me.
I'm not actually AFK in that situation, I'm watching them. Should I go to an off-grid safe and spam the dscan button in order to watch them? It gives me less information than if I'm actually on-grid.
I see that this is a POS module, like a cyno jammer, that would require an I-hub to construct. So my alliance sends a fleet into the system to knock out the cyno jammer, while also sending bombers into the system to harass the defense fle- oh wait no we can't use bombers anymore.
Well at least we can use blockade runners to drop SBUs in- oh... no, we can't |

There, I just saved you maggots 15 pages of drivel. You forgot the bit where points one through four form an extremely amusing infinite loop of trolling. |

That's kind of covered under 5, but yes, it really was so bad it really ought to be mentioned specifically. |
