whats better t2 guns or faction guns ?
My astarte shall i just stick with t2 guns + faction ammo . or faction guns + faction ammo ..

T2 is better but faction guns take less grid and less energy to fire (hybrids & lasers).

what if am usen ... 1400 turrets.. faction better then t2? .. good question .. as t2 large project ammo sucks for PVE

t2 still gets the spec skill boost to damage though... depends on your skills I guess and what you can fit.

I fit 3 x faction dmg mods.. 2 x faction tracking mods.. 2 x Target painters , 1 x Gist 100 AB , 2 x Domi Cruise , 6 x 1400 scouts , 6% pirate tracking mod , & I kite level 4s.. so its the 75days of skilling.. to get t2 1400s .. or .. Buy 6 x faction 1400 turrets for the machariel .. which would you go for..

75 days to t2 large guns ? man sell that char and start another . in 75 days i train all 3 races t2 large guns ...

A simple (slightly flawed tho, so don't pin me to this) base rule seems to be:
Short ranged guns: T2 guns, faction ammo and bring some tech II ammo
Long ranged guns: Faction guns, faction ammo
The flaws could be stuff like: You might be able to fit a rack of heavier faction guns and still get the best dps with faction ammo for shortrange and You might want to use tech II ammo for pure sniper setups hence needing tech II guns for long ranges (and pure sniper set ups tend to be able to have the fittings available for the guns to start with, lacking most of the tank).
Atm faction ammo is so good, if I'd have the cash I'd use it all the time.
