hello u are
i wanna ask u about salvage rigs
for example i've fitted my destoyer 4tractorz&4salvagerz
i have skills : salvaging 4
for example : if i fit 3 rigs on my destr will it help me salvage more and better??
so i wanna hear some words from players who use those rigs :D

i have a destroyer with 4 trac and 4 salv, salv skill L4
i recently installed 3 salvaged rigs. One thing for sure, i salvage a hell of a lot quicker now, as for yield, yes there is an uncrease i feel

so what about quality? salvage rigz givez u more component from same wreck before rigfitting?

I lost my first salvager to a pirate. It had a salvage rig installed.
I now have the exact same setup, exact same skill, but without a salvage rig...and have noticed approximately 0% slowdown in my salvaging. It seriously changed zip.

The salvage rigs increase the chance of salvaging. So it speeds up but not what you find when salvaging. So the only thing they influence is the overall speed at which you salvage. That is all.

it depends on how many salvagers are on one traget, if you have 1:1 than rigs will speed up the process. from personal observation i'd say that 1 rig is enough, t2 if you are rich. the amount will not increase, just the time to salvage will be shorter.

i certainly salvage quicker, 1-2 secs per wreck, as for yield, quality, not sure, as i was doing L3 without salvage rigs, i am doing L4's with 3 salvage rigs, all i know i get a hell of a lot of salvage from l4's

you don't salvage quicker, the salvage cycle time remains the same, your chance to find the salvage per cycle is increased. in short you need less scan cycles (but never 1-2 seconds).
