Actually it was me who hired him but not because I wanted to. I needed a +3% Ice Cycle time implant and the only one for sale was one of those "Multi-item Contracts".
It came with the implant, a janitor, a scrap metal, a copy of "Wining Friends and Influencing People - Amarr Edition by Sir Molle", a Scordite Crystal and a Merc Contract "Against the BOB Corp of your Choice".
BEC won the draw.
I really needed that implant.
