but i just cant find the CPU to fit this and i got weapon upgrade level 5 and electronic level 5. is there somthing im missions? i just cant find a setup i really like becaues of the damn CPU req. im so close to just training a raven and deal with the problem that way -.-

the maeilstrom do not have any fitting problems what so ever.
dont use 1400¦s in missions.
try swiching some things for best named, instead of t2
and another thing: you will not be able to have a ship that does ok on every mission unless it uses missiles.
you need a ac-setup too

almost exactly the setup i was using for lvl4s before my mael got popped(because i went afk for too long)
i can't check the fitting now, but perhaps if you drop the AB for another SBA II, and change the 1400s for 1200s (better dps and tracking, also lower cpu use iirc) it might juuuuust fit with a -5% gun cpu implant. Not sure tho, if it doesn't, i heard something somewhere about a new +5% cpu hardwiring, maybe try that out too?
hope i've been of help

fisrt 1. use 1400 t2 is better .second is you might switch some med slot stuff like hardeners or amp to best named to save cpu

could try onf of those new cpu iplants, or one of those old turret cpu reduction implants.
other option is to drop teh t2 xl booster for best named. same shield boost/sec, though a bit less cap efficient then t2.
can also drop the 1400's for 1200's less alpha but more dps and better tracking(not that that means much, tracking is still horrible)
anyway, personaly I fly lvl4 with 1200's (best named) xlarge booster II shield boost amp II inv field II adn 2 specific t2 hardners PWNGE target painter(to help kill thoes frigates adn cruisers at 80-90km range) lows, 3 gyroII and 2 tracking enhancher II
rigs, shield EM resist, optimal range and damage mod rigs(forgot names) once I can use t2 large arty in a few montsh(other training priototies right now) I'll drop the optimal range rig for a current router to be able to fit t2 1400mm
-FIX LP store please small change, big difference |

Switch to named 1200s, the tracking and extra ammo is worth it over the 1400mm alpha and fitting requirements. I use this and it works really good:
8 scout 1200mm T2 XL booster 3 T2 hardners 2 T2 amps 2 T2 gyro( or 1 gyro and 1 T2 damage control) 3 T2 PDU
And 3 cap rigs. Tank lasts a good while and my booster is doing over 1800 per cycle( with some crystal implants mind you). Just switch the 1200 for dual 650mm for an AC setup.

I can fit this with a 3% CPU boost implant, and in fact, I do fit this, and run level 4 missions with it. It's my favorite mission ship so far.
High: 8x T1 1200 Scouts Mid: 100mn AB II, XL SB II, T1 named amp, 3x T2 hardeners Low: DC II, Capacitor Flux Coil II, 3x Gyro II Rigs: 2x Cap Control Circuit, 1x Semicond Memory Cell
For close range missions (< 25km), I use T1 800mm Scouts. For Serpentis missions with lots of sensor damping, I drop the AB and one hardener for two sensor boosters.

imo not an option. although hp/sec is roughly the same and faster cycle time is very handy, cap use is quite more and probably can't be reliable enough on those hard missions, even with 3CCC and PDUs

just found out if i use the new LP X-Large shield booster ill get another 60 CPU and that will make it posiable for me to fitt is all but with tech 2 1200mm... they are only 5% wors en dps then 1400mm
the LP item is just as good as the tech 2 version but easyer to fit

You really don't need that much tank imo. Here is what I run.
8*1400mm II
100mn ab II large shield booster II 3 hardeners (t2) Tracking computer II
2 PDS II 3 Gyrostab II
Rigs 3*ccc
Works great and its quick too. Witht he range you need to make the Artillery work you end up tanking very little if any damage. The tank is only to cover the initial warp in aggro. I dont use drones much but I carry t1 hobgoblins and hammerheads to take out frigs that get to close.
