Every has had that HILARIOUS in game moment in a gang where months or years later you giggle laughing or is a great joke with friends thats starts Hey Remember When?
So lets all play remember when......
Everyone post no flaming make it fun, funny etc come on - BoB, Goons, Red Alliance, Cyvok if your till around everyone share a funny story. Either from the heat of combat, doin PVE or massive Oh sh*t I F*%ked up Were here for for one reason to enjoy EVE and have fun. Look forward to some FUNNY A$$ post

I asked in noob help how to take a screen shot, three people said hit "Ctrl+Q".
It wasn't funny at the time, i was in the middle of a fight.

went pvping with a dread gurista invul field in my hold. (chose the wrong cepter to pvp in)
only realised i had it in there when i was collecting loot and 30 jumps in enemy space, with reported blobs everywhere.
very sweating palms moment getting bck. lol

Meeting a small corp up in 'our' space, them smacking us, and we subsequently start to take out their POS, they jump in a thanatos + faction fit pilgrim, my moros pretty much one-volleys the pilgrim and our gang takes down the thanatos. Month later they dec us and i kill the same guy in his pilgrim, again.

Yeah, that. Just watched the video and can fully support their giggle mania, was laughing right along with them watching it.

Remember when... my bud (a slow sot) decided to start playing Eve and trained in this order:
Caldari Frigate IV
Caldari Cruiser IV
Caldari Battleship I
Then bought a Raven for $15 and tried to fly it to my mission hub in .2 space. He got splattered by a 5 man gate camp.

My funniest moment(and most frustrating at the same time):
When, after arriving back home from doing a walk-through of the new home we are buying, I was sitting in Oursalert building the cheapest rifter I could in order to help a noob with some lv 1 missions.. I bought the only 10k EMP S ammo that was in the station where I was docked... for roughly 75k EACH.. I about crapped my pants when I looked at my wallet an hour later and realised I spent almost 750,000,000 ISK on 10,000 units of plain T1 EMP S ammo...
I cried, I laughed, I got over it....

Pirating in a 0.4 and after killing someone in a belt warping to a planet to wait out the timer.
minimized, checked my emails, then re-opened eve and I was at 25% shoeld with a raven and a scorp firing on me 
I tried warping off and neither of them had a point

I was saving for my first Ferox. They cost 28m. Somebody offered me one for 20m and then tried to trade me a destroyer named "Ferox" - I undocked.

I have 2 that really stand out.
I had a friend in real life that wanted to test his vaga tank vs EM (setting up to ran Sanshas). I thought it would be funny to fit explosive in my Raven. Killed him in two volleys. I was laughing so hard that I fell out of my chair.
Number 2:
I have a killmail (can't post on EVE-o unfortunately) of a Raven I kill 1v1 in my Scorp in HED-GP when I was doing a solo camp on the gate. From the killmail and what was left in the can here is what he had:
6x Arbalist Cruise Launchers (back when they were 22mil / unit)
1x Photon Scattering field, 1x Shield Boost Amp, 1x Civilian Shield Booster
AND NOTHING ELSE.

I giggle about these even to today.
-->I once ransomed a Ferox in my Thorax which was fitted with civilian electron blasters, they refused so I killed them. Then continued to post my hit log in local of my civilian electron blasters doing 2 dmg to them.

When a Thorax and I encountered each other in a belt (we were both in Thoraxes) and killed each other, then laughed in local that we were in pods together and then ganged each other and warped to a safespot in our pods together.

i got into a fight in rens vs about three cruisers in my deimos about two? years ago my deimos had a domination 10mn micro
so i warp in start to engage and my ship becomes unresponsive cant activae guns nothing so i die
i cant believe i lost my domi 10 mn noooooo
i log my alt in system and go to see if my loot can is there sure enough it is with hostile all around it so i walk right up to it open it all the loots still there including my domination 10mn
scoop warp gone yeah
then i petition my lost deimos and got it returned aswell

Back in the day...
Corp mining op in 0.4 space. A pirate jumped into our belt, scoped us out and left after a few seconds. We were pretty rattled (paranoid noobs in lo-sec  ) , so we decided to move one system over to 0.5
Meanwhile, the pirate has jumped a few systems to grab his brand-new, pimped-out battleship and is returning to deal out some piratey wrath on us. He failed to notice we had shifted one system, and his attempt to scramble and ransom had Concord on the scene pretty fast.
He was a good sport about it. Pops into our public channel every now & then to say hi.  |
