The time has come to form a corporation with the specific aim of opposing all those who stand against us. Guardians of Order will be a dedicated PvP corp with the direct intent of standing against those who wish to keep the less populated regions of Eve bathed in the blood of the innocent.
This corp will not be static, it will be available to help anyone who feels threatened by outside forces.
The base of this corp will ideally be players with moderate experience and skill levels or greater, who aspire to something more than griefing or mindless mining. PvP experience is not necessary, there will certainly be many opportunities to learn that fine art, but a willingness to perfect it is definately an asset. Currently, we are seeking North American based players, but all are welcome to apply.
In this early stage, we cannot provide much in the way of equipment or ships, but that will certainly come as we have already aquired some rather generous financial backing, and that will increase with time.
Currently we are seeking members to fill all roles, directorships are still available and once we have a stable foundation to work from we will be releasing a full mission statement. Those who wish to get in on the "ground floor" (if there ever was one in space) can apply immediately at Nein VII - Moon 4 - Impro Factory in the Nein system, Metropolis region, or, convo myself, Captain Canuck, in-game about advanced employment opportunities.
Guardians of Order welcome all to apply.

can i be a director? I want to throw all my stuff away and join a completley noob corp, with little to no PvP experience, fly with pilots that dont know there asses from there heads, and follow ludicrous idiologies such as "we will fight anyone who calls for help - cos we are carebears"..without considering the concequences of those actions....
Man i wish you all the best....but you gotta get real dude!

Edited by: Antimater on 19/01/2004 16:12:51 OK..a more constructive comment is required...
Join a PvP corp..learn the trade (as i am..its not that simple...expect great losses before success), you only have to attack one pilot from an alliance whilst training and your in the dodo...they will crush you instantly...whilst training up...
If i was to do what you proposed id do the following...
1) Get an alliance to accept my corp as defenders of said alliance...and glene information from thier more experienced corps
2) When confident enough of your abilities..post thread topic again declaring intent...
3) get as many NAPS as possible..(Non aggression pacts..) start networking...

Antimatter- obviously we did not meet, although i do know of you -
As for your points -
I do have PvP experience, gained during my tenure with Reikoku - Experience, check
I do have "connections", and have already done a fair amount of networking (hence the "we have financial backing" comment) - Support, check
Third, just because you do not understand the loyalty, trust, and willingness to help people out (after you crossed the floor in Venal/Pureblind) doesnt mean that other people do not value these things. I am offering a place for North American players to enjoy PvP without becoming griefers or jate/jip campers (yes, i know it is still done, refer back to previous Reikoku/NVA comment)
Although i do not wish for this to become a flame fest, your points are all valid, I have already thought about them however, and have taken care of most of the loose ends (some cannot be taken care of until a corp is established, as you may well know). As always, any constructive feedback is welcome (your second post was much better than the first).

Also, Antimatter, you know what happens in venal in the evenings, when the NVA forces disappear and epa/huff/bio/spvd run free - there are no north american pirate hunters. I know from my time with Reikoku that fleet battles are fun, but they dont seem to happen during my hours - thats my aim.....to form a corp of PvP'ers all from the same time zone..more or less....anyway..back to work

Not the same GoO - Although i was a member of GoO in E&B. Liked the name mostly, there are no carryover members from GoO (except myself, i guess).

Hi,
Throughout his time with Reikoku, Captian Canuck showed an amazing willingness to fight and the potential to lead. He was part of the victorious infamous EC-P8R battle and from all accounts (i wasn't there so can only go on what my other corp mates tell me) he was an asset to have on that day.
I have no doubts that given the chance, Captain Canuck will bring the Guardians of Order to be an American sister corp of Reikoku. We look forward to meeting on the same side of the field in the future again against the tyranical elements of eve.
For those miners/new players/wannabe pvp'ers(whom I know there are a lot of due to our constant stream of evemails asking to join rkk) out there, there is a lot of potential in joining a fledgling pvp corporation with a lot of friends already in place. You and Captain Canuck can mould the corp into something that you can be proud of.
It will take patience and hard work to get the corp of the ground and I imagine pvp will be sporadic until the corp is established but that should be even more incentive to work together to get the corp stabilised with a good core team.
All the best for the future, dbp

Good luck to Guardians of Order in their efforts to forge a progressive PvP corp identity in the chaotic political environs of the Eve star cluster. Such ambitions require courage and commitment and should be respected.
Monsieur Antimater,
One point. Its considered bad taste to criticise other people's recruitment threads for the sake of it.
Love and peace

Thats the problem with everything in this game, aside from mining. But, if you provide a service, somebody will pay (provided the service is good). I still mine to support myself, just not with this character - and as long as you dont have a BS fetish (and lose 2 or 3 a week) its not all that expensive. Support will be provided, as stated earlier.
