You fly to specified system. See that itÆs not a fake and ship is real, then you give isks and after that mothership pilot ejects and you board ship.

I think Chribba is willing to act as a third party in this kinda deals. Buyer gives isk to Cribba, seller confirms with Cribba and ejects from ship, buyer entered ship confirms to Chribba and gives seller the isk.
Its all about a mutual trusted third party.

I would say that getting a trusted third party to act has middle man for a small percentage would make this sale happen in seconds.
Would suggest someone from Naga or someone well known and respected. |

LOL.
I have used the method Degront is suggesting for transfer of the ship to scam dozens of people.
INCLUDING a Red Alliance pilot.
Looks like Red are now using the very same method they fell victim to, to try and scam others.
USE a third party, NAGA, BIG, Chribba or EVE RADIO.

Yes, BIG brokers MS deals, as do Chribba and Omber Zombie. We all charge a fee. There is no excuse for entering into an MS sale without a broker, you will just get scammed.
BIG will not broker any MS deals involving Miz, though, even if he says it is legit this time as he needs the ISK to buy that Titan someone is selling him, k?

someone had a good suggestion about this the other day in industry forum
Buying char has agreed apon buy value in megacyte in a carrier, and a small pos in a empty 0.0 system.
Buyer parks carrier in pos, and scans mothership with a frig to verify no smarties, tackle, cyno etc fitted. once verfied comes back in carrier. Mothership seller scans carrier to verify payment ammount, lack of weapons.
one char ejects, they switch ships, jump out. Payment has physically changed hands, so scamming is effectively impossible.

So basicly, one would trust you not to scam for a 150M fee, tbh it feels safer with a 3rd party asking for like 2B in fee since a low fee may imply that the 3rd party is only trying to make the buyer/seller chose him/her because of the low fee... |

150m seem good enough for something that should take less than an hour and for acting just as a holder of the isk
Don't you think that a 2b fee is way too expensive just to have to hold the money for a few mins?
If the buyer/seller want me to be present at the location of the transaction, the fee will be higher, but nothing too exagerated, probably 1% instead of 0.5% -----

Personally I don't think it is too low since after all the multiple billions we're talking about here needs some sort of guarantee.
As for your last sentence... So you say you will hold the ISK but not be present at the switch? Excuse me, but how could you ever tell that the trade actually take place then.
The seller says he has ejected and the the buyer has climbed in, while the buyer says the seller has not ejected. I don't see how you ever could transfer the ISK back to either part in that situation as you can't verify who is lying and who isn't - returning the money to the buyer? He might have the ship already - Return the money to the seller? - He might never have ejected.
You're asked to be a trusted 3rd party and you're not even going to be present - sure you may be trusted but you can't verify if the buyer or seller is to be trusted. Doesn't feel to comfortable tbh. |

I am red to RA. So you can be sure that I am not going to steal from you to benifit them. However there is a need for a transfer process to make sales like this possible. I will act as escrow.
How I see this going down is:
The purchaser sends the isk to me. The seller takes to MS, fitted only with a cloak, to a gateway system and awaits my invitation to gang and instruction instruction to jump. Only my cyno alt and myself and the seller will be in the gang to avoid the jump in of other cap ships. The seller has 45 seconds to initiate Jump. I will meet seller at the cyno point where the seller has 1 minute to eject from the ship and warp to station. I board the ship and warp it to a prearranged SS where I cloak. I will wait 15 minutes and move the ship to another system and again cloak.
The purchaser then is informed of the location of the ship.
When the MS is safely out of the transfer system and is cloaked in the destination system I will transfer the isk to the seller. Minus 100 million isk brokerage fee.
The purchaser is then ganged and warps to me and and I eject from the ship and the purchaser boards.
I will only guarentee my part in this. I make no guarentee's that the purchaser forwards me the isk and I make no guarentees that the seller jumps the MS and ejects from it. What I do however guarentee is that if I do not receive the isk from the purchaser the seller is never ganged and not asked to jump to the undisclosed system. If the seller does not comply the isk will be returned to the purchaser in full minus the fee of 100 million isk. If the seller in anyway violates the terms of the agreement I log out and the isk is returned to the purchaser forthwith. If the seller destroyes the vessel when I am piloting it the purchaser gets his isk back as well as the insurance payout. If the purchaser attacks the ship when I am piloting ( bizzare I know) the the seller gets the isk left in escrow as well as the insurance payment.
Now to all you guys who will flame me. I know that at some point I will be in possession of both the MS and the isk. What prevents me from pulling a guiding hand?? Just me and my sence of self worth. As you can see I have been in CoRM or it's empire corp since I started playing over 2 years ago. I am a senior director in CoRM and have had the opportunity to steal much more then this but will not.
What do I get out of this? Well tbfh I get fame, and I get the reputation of an inpartial escrow business. I hope to use this transaction to develope this business into something that this game desparately needs, a Trusted site. A place that exchanges like this can happen due to the build up of trust.
If this seems like an oportunity that you (the purchaser and the seller) wish to explore please eve-mail me. To the flamers out there. pffffft you opinion means nothing to me.
I will answer questions for the purchaser and the seller only. ***********************************************
How could they know what we are going to do? We have no idea what we are going to do.

LOL @ all these guys crying scam, but seriously when a scam is conducted its done towards a player, the right to buy a mothership is a unique oportunity if RA wanted to scam they would likely offer it to a certain person as was the case in all previous scams with Miz, Adsterine and Ginger. This however is not the case!
i dont believe this is a scam and i would recommend those with isk to purchase it from such a trusted seller and alliance. the classic question is why cant ccp make them dock or safe to trade. The bottom line is super capitals change the tides of war they shouldnt be so easy to trade for those with the biggest wallet. the barrier with building these ships is not the isk its the hardcore logistics.
thats just my 2isk btw i will act as a broker :P but given my history i wont be offended if u decide that might not be a good idea

Thats the point in a 3rd party. Theyre a trusted member of the community with a reputation to keep - Dark Shikari, BIG, Chribba. None of these people would scam you. Ever. ---

I believe he's referring to following thoretical situation: - Seller appears with mothership - Buyer sends trustee the isk - Trustee confirms to buyer and seller that isk has been recieved - Seller ejects from ship - Buyer gets into ship - Buyer lies and claims to have been scammed. - Seller tells the truth and claims to have traded successfuly.
At this point, the trustee would be in the situation of having to choose who to believe. Actually being present in a cloaked ship watching it is pretty much a requirement. I think that's the point that was being made.

The second one char ejects, who is to say that..... someone just so happen to Logon and pop the pod and thus keep both ships? Of course, I am not saying that the OP's Alliance would do a Logon trap for 25bil isk worth of stuff, but you can never be too careful!
Anyhow I dont think this is a scam, but to be on the safe side 3rd party would have to be someone who has contributed to the eve community so much that there is no point in scamming. Chribba for example, who is happy to do this going by his earlier comments, so it should be a straightforward deal.

I've done a trade like this before (as 3rd party) and I sat there right next to the mothership in system and watched the two pilots change seats... works just fine, and no room for doubt -

Why not just put the nyx on a char that only has skills to sit in the ship? that doesnt take long at all if done right....
then character auction it... you will get more isk for it anyway..
and if done correctly the GMs guarantee your isk..

Well... sale of supercaps can easily be achieved! Its just very simple as long the person requested to be the middleman willing to help with some isk as gratitudes.
1) Get the middleman where everybody knows (like Chribba) 2) The buyer wire the 30~45b to middleman as the payment to the seller for the supercap 3) middleman verify amount, inform seller... buyer get close to supercap (like 1k distance), seller eject, buyer board 4) supercap transfer done, middleman transfer amount to seller and seller pay 100~300m as gratitudes
Its just that simple and 100m~300m won't be too expansive as gratitude fees since seller selling it 30~45b
Why make things so hard? I'm sure alot of EVE celebrities willing to do so for just like 10~20mins of their time.
