Edited by: Krezeb on 27/06/2007 09:49:21 Hi I've decided to do what most Hi-Sec mission runners are apparently afraid to do -
MOVE OUT OF CALDARI SPACE
After having to petition myself as stuck twice last night as have a GM move to to an ajacent system, once when I set my autopilot and it took my through Jita (That was my fault, I should have manually gone around it), and once during a mission in Salia (Internet connection broke, couldn't log into Salia), I am officially fed up.
No, you can't have my stuff. Keep reading.
Since the lvl 4 missions in Caldari space are spammed and most systems are painful to travel through, I've made the decision to move away. Maybe find a nice Gallente agent to work for. Fine, I won't be able to buy a Navy Raven through the LP store, but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.
I'm just one pilot so you won't notice the lag drop as I leave, though I will at least know that my leaving has reduced the lag for everyone else (barring unstable ISPs etc)
No, you can't have my stuff. Read the WHOLE post before replying.

Well, yeah, especially now with Navy ammo, it's a good time to get outta Caldari space.
I mean, the Navy Blaster/Projectile, somewhat rail ammo will be in high demand from non-missionrunners. These ammos are the backbone of most PvP fleets, people who don;t have time to run missions. So you can profit quickly selling them Navy ammo
Where as Raven is really a mission runner's ship, and most of the mission runners can supply their own missiles, thus, small market.

the only thing i'd miss when not doing missions for caldari are the navy BCUs, navy Invuls and navy boost amps. For mission runners those items are sweet (like DG) so to outit your mission ship caldari is best. as soon as you have the perfect mission BS then you don't have any loss from leaving caldari space. |

I love you. Please, let this soul be the first of a mighty exodus: one third to another factions' space, one third to less-used Caldari systems, and one third to biomass, due to the implosion caused by reaching critical mass of idiocy remaining when all the semi-intelligent people leave.

Can I have the stuff you can't move?
Move to Amarr, if I were you. Being Caldari, they'll have the best standings towards you for agents, and it's also the least busy area. --------

Just so you know, there are level 4 Caldary agents in Gallente space. You can still get your CNR and live in a more fragrant area.

We moved our entire corp out of caldari space. Even though many new players that come to us for help are still caldari they are willing to mek the big trip to join our new home in ammar space.
Moving away from Caldari space was very good for us once the heavy mission runners got back on track. --------------------------------- Monkey Nut CEO - PioneerX Productions A young/new player training corporation.

Edited by: Slythought on 27/06/2007 14:16:37 tbh aren't all lvl4 agaent systems laggy? in any type of space?
CCP should have MORE lvl4 agents spread out accress the regions, and disapate everyone.
I only have lvl4 agents in Caldari space, the most laggiest agent system (motsu) and I will never go back there to run missions, to much of a risk to lose that ship to LAG. -------- Yes ... I am an alt...get over it! |

Actually I would prefer if you all stayed in Caldari space all the better for those of us that don't go near the place
But seriously I am surprised more are not doing the same.
In regards to your Navy Raven. I know lots of npc corps have alternate locations in other faction space.
For instance I use a Gallente Corp that is know where near Gallente space. Have a good look around before you move, you might be surprised what you find & pleasently happy.
Best of luck.

When I started this game, I trained for mining but after doing it awhile, I got bored out of my skull so I switched to mission running. However, unlike everyone else, I trained up Amarr instead of caldari because....
1) I didn't want to deal with overpopulated mission hubs
2) No Ammo needed for Amarr means no running to a hub to get more.
3) The newer Amarr ships while not as efficient as Caldari for missions, they are highly underrated in pve. Harbinger for 3's, Abaddon for 4's.
I am assuming the OP is going to continue to fly his Caldari ships though and just change racial agents. Amarr agents aren;t a bad choice if you don't mind getting a Apoc as a faction reward. The agent hubs that I have been to are mostly empty and there is no lag other than the usual rat/structure lag from the missions themselves. I would recommend running for the Theology Council instead of the Imperial Navy though because the higher lvl4's agents are kind of crappy in the Imperial navy.

I'm in the process of moving out of Motsu myself. Actualyl got jumped by war targets while in my tugboat industrial while doing it.
It ended well for me, but I've decided to delay my move to a time thats more advantageous for me. Like Thursday around 2 in the morning.....
