It was a 27 minute battle where our forces engaged a carrier and battleships when our scout told us that they were headed our way. Good fight all around. I hope to have more great battles like this one in the future without a hundred macros coming to steal all the loot. ;o There is a little profanity, not much I don't think. Santa Anna	Posted - 2007.06.27 19:49:00 - [22] At one point it sounded like you were putting 9 damps on the carrier. Damps on a target are stacking nerfed, so more than 3 really aren't worth it. As it sounded like you refit and brought ewar after losing a couple ships (not sure from listening), 3x well-skilled damps and 6x racial jammers (with signal distortion amps) may have worked better.

If I was FC I would have told everyone to STFU and listen for orders, otherwise not speak. The only thing you should say in a small gang when you go down IMHO is "Name" Down, and then shut up. I really don't care about anything else. If you don't have remote rep there is really no reason to even mention that your going down imho, just try your best to get out.

When primary is down, we move to secondary and repeat. If we need a switch of primaries Sirius and his sexy voice gets our attention. (Not to mention his accent) We have tons of fun :D And when theres 14-15 people, compared to dozens (small fleet warfare vs blobs) its nicer to relax, and shoot. Were mostly texans anyways (well inca is) so they relax and shoot things anyway :p

During non-combat we have tons of fun on our team speak, but when engaged in combat, everyone gets quiet and waits for orders... its not how every corp does it... but its how a lot probably do...

You don't need to have a conversation during combat. TS can be incredibly relaxed most of the time but once target calling starts talking should stop, especially when the gives an order (which was blatantly disregarded in this case). I don't think people who lose ships to or FCs who are disrespected by people not shutting the ** up on teamspeak find it nearly as fun I'm Ex-Biomass, that makes me cool But now I'm KOS and that makes me cooler 8)

The short answer is, I shouldn't. Why? Because that mentality is horrible. It's everything I dislike about modernity. Anybody that adheres to such a mentality can take it with them when they devolve into ants, or perhaps the more social termites, and live out their lives in the ground, away from people. People like the members of Deviance and Incarnation of Evil that like to question their leaders, perhaps down a brew of a weekend off, and, if they're feeling really crazy, talk like normal adult humans whilst doing so. But what do I know? Nothing, it would seem. I talk out of line, so I'm an incompetent buffoon. Disregard everything I say. In all reality I understand that some people can get along just fine living their lives in a strictly arranged way. It just takes a different kind of mindset, and I don't hate differences. I hate intolerance. Anybody that has read this far and has a cute argument to present to me, know this: if it isn't full of double and reverse-sarcasm, healthy doses of nerd-ism, and nonsensical ranting out the wazoo ù you can stuff it up whatever orifice your people traditionally stuffs things, because I don't want to read it. BTW, brilliant engagement, Carnal folk. The video's a bit raw, but two thumbs up on the battle.
