I'm fairly new to this game and live in high sec space. What do the cool and powerful people fly in 0.0?
Do they swan about in carriers, faction battleships, dreads, capital ships, mother ships etc, or is low sec too dangerous for expensive ships?

the beauty of this game lies within the different use of every single ship in a fight.
if its only a tech1 firgate that tackles or a motherships that strikes fear into the enemies heart - fly what u wonna fly.
just make sure u have the right setup for what u wonna do ;) - Purple Conquered The World, We the Universe.

People in 0.0 fly all kind of ships. You see cheap T1 frigs next to pimped out command ships. It all depends on what is going on at the moment, and what the pilot wants to acheive. Personally, I fly (relatively) cheap ships that I do not mind losing, as (as someone above stated) all ships are just wrecks waiting to happen, and that happens often in 0.0 <_< -=^=-

Most often you will see Interceptors, Recons, and sometimes a CS or two. Vaga's are popular also for the speed and fire power they can bring to small engagements.

T1 Cruisers, T2 frigates, Dictor for small gang PvP. Some people use HACs, not too many though.
For fleet/large gang PvP you'll also find BSes and command ships as well as Battlecruisers for those less skilled.

Usually in 0.0you fly on your own ego. So pimp it a lot before venturing into 0.0

When I get to 0.0 I'll probably fly a fast Vagabond to keep out of trouble.

Edited by: Guillame Herschel on 27/06/2007 20:08:37 A Vagabond is for getting into trouble, and then getting the hell out of it. An Interceptor or Covert Ops ship is better at keeping out of trouble altogether.
