I'm interested in hiring some mercenaries to take out an annoying ore thief Corporation. They operate around 6 jumps from Jita and comprise around 5 members.
I wish to clean up the area from such scum, and am interested in finding out price points are mercenary availibility for the contract.
As you will no doubt suspect, I am working as a middle-person for a to-remain-unnamed client.

ore thief corp's make me laugh 
they call themselves pirates, wear a skull and cross bones, and run around with 4.8 security status trying to steal ore in a drake, then expecting you to fight back.
then, to top it off, when asking to come down to low sec to fight with you like a man, they turn down your offer and call you a**** for not attacking his battlecruiser with a barge 
good luck with killing these guy's, i can pretty safely say the mercenaries wont be taking much in the way of losses

I dont know where you are located, but I steal often, both from probing mission runners and ore. From stealing or I have taken down a mealstrom, and several cruiers and battlecruisers. Yesterday I found a guy looting a mission and I began to steal as I now do when I find mission runner spots. Soon after a Hurricane and a Stabber jumped in. The Hurricane guy was 3 a lot older than me, but I decided to give it a try... The stabber was down fast and I began to attack the hurri back. While fighting the hurri the other guy returned in a scythe and the guy i originally stole from came in a trasher. A short time later they were all dead. I was flying vagabond.
It was a great fight and I fight in low sec often too. Lately however my sec standing has gone low and I want acces to high sec, also targets in low sec are often complete nubs in firgates-cruisers or huge gangs of battleships that simply gank you. Of course in a vagabond its easy just to run, but I really like getting a fight better, which stealing provides almost daily for me.

If the OP was to name the target Corporation, I'm sure there would be many others out there who would take on a contract like this for free - or at least for the price of the declaration.

Name and Shame? This is C&P FFS... nobody cares about ore theft! If they weren't honoring ransoms or something, I could understand it... but ore theft?!
