CCP .. Since Rev II & this heat lark.. Its so hard to see if ur ammo / mods are active with a stupid green flashing behide it while the mods have a green bar across the top for heat..
second time today I almost died as i was not aware that my hardners were inactive as its so hard to stop when you have 24 mods flashing green at once i.e...
& why do mods such a nano etc etc now show up in the HUD? surly only active mods should show up on the hud .. not lows such as passive plates or nano.. its a joke & looks crap.

/signed for the active / inactive thing
For the other thing: "Hide passive modules" ftw.
Click on the little arrow on the right bottom side of the speedometer.

A. I have always had trouble seeing them. B. I mission in an area with Red space. C. I am red/green colour blind. D. It's way harder to read now since Rev II.
So, any chance of having user selectable flash colours or an LED next to module... -- Rgds Mike

Signed tbh.
It gets annoying having to spin the camera round until you have a dark piece of space behind your mods to see if they are running.

I always had this problem when i have the tactical overlay on. It can be hard to see, even in dark areas of space

Yes. And forget using tactical overlay. Can't see anything then.

Ouch, bad circumstances.
Also, can you drive? I just realized that if red and green look the same... stoplights... ya...
I'm not trying to be mean, I just never realized the whole stoplight issue until now. - - - - - - - - 98% of online signatures have fake statistics in them, often about drugs, video games, or rap. If you're one of the 2% that doesn't, go suck a lemon. |

Open Map.Jump through a gate or undock and close the map as you do.
Unless CCP fixed this in Rev II all space will now be black. No fancy glowing clouds and no swirly stuff.
It's not perfect but it helps.

Darn tootin'. I have vision problems too, and risk my *** all the time by running my mouse pointer over modules to see whether they're active or not.
Come on CCP, you did good by changing to ticks/crosses in the info boxes - look after us here too. Pale green module colours are BAD! bad! bad! for lots of pod pilots _____________________________ Who, me? A signature? Really? |

Actually, the reason stop lights are standardized: red top, Yellow middle, Green bottom - is for those people that are color blind. They can see the illumination, even if they can not see the color. If I remember correctly, the lights setup horizontal are, from left to right - red, yellow, green.
You should be able to find this info in a DMV driving manual.
Also, I agree that the current hud is difficult to read.
