But then again, it's just me and I'll probably get flamed The difference is that in that Tanis Alliance, they can easily deploy 2 Outposts, deploy as many POSs as they want, turn sov on and off, use their dev-tools etc. Thats hardly doable in a player-alliance/corp. Point of "experiencing the game from a normal players POV" is a whole different thing, hence its totally ok to have devs on normal chars playing.

Ah, so they actually haven't been testing outposts, sov, POSes or anything else until now? Because, obviously, they couldn't have, until now, deployed outposts in Jove space, spam POSes there, use dev tools and do many other things. Right. Makes sense. I am not questioning their decision to create this alliance and test things in Jovian space. Hell, I am happy they did it. I am just wondering why they haven't done it years ago, and had all devs in that alliance. But as I said - it's material for flaming, so I don't expect any normal answers anyway. And it's nothing player can answer anyway, so I don't understand why you were even bothering replying... EDIT: And to be honest, I was so naive I actually beleived they had the alliance for testing in Jovian space already, so this announcement confused me a bit Oh well, it's better late than never, it can only be a good thing after all :)
