i was wondering if it was worth going the extra mile and get minmitar bs lvl5 and large projectile lvl5
btw was other lvl5 skills do u guys recon is a must for a combat character..thx

At this time I wouldn't recommend training battleship 5, there's probably loads of other level 5's you would want first.

80 Days to BS level 5 thats by figuring out how long to Frigate level 5 and multiplying it by 8

aye, do that if you find yourself in a coma or you get sent to prison for 3 mths or something, itll be a long while before its needed anyways i imagine

it takes me 41dys for bs lvl5
i have maxed out all my skills and have all the implants :P
ok so ill put it off until the new implants come out them
but what other lvl5 skills should i get to make the ulimate combat character :)

As a focused Tempest pilot, I am dedicating all my training into mastering this ship.
I have RF 5, LP 5, SS 5, Nearly all secondary ships skills (energy mgmt, etc) to 5 and Min BS 5 will be done in 11 days.
No regrets taking this path, I kick ass in fights and that's pretty much what I'm about...

YES. It's absolutely worth to train minmatar battleship to 5.
But not any other. Well, maybe Gallente.
But absolutely not Caldari, and neither Amarr.
The battleship bonuses are very imbalanced.
That also makes it a big risk, in case they should someday decide to nerf the minmatar instead of boost the Caldari and Amarr.

how can you say no to amarr?? that 5% added to my cap is just calling out my name ever so loudly! so max out energy management and omg.. one hell of a cap with 0 mods if you train amarr bs to lvl 5 :) oh and tachs use another 5% less cap

(i agree, if i trained caldari it wouldn't go above 4)

Well, of course there is a time when it's time to train Amarr BS lvl 5, but I wouldn't do it until I had like 13M skill points (without training other races).
If I was going Minmatar I'd prolly start when I have maybe 8.5 million skill points.
5% to cap and cap usage on large lasers is just so much behind 5% to damage and ROF.
Well, the numbers I said may change depending on the advanced skills coming in...

Without at least a perception 30 and willpower 30, it's not worth it.
That said, I can't wait for Boosters and Standard Implants.

I reccomend training all your Learning skills first!!
It might shave 50 days off of that training (guessing here)
