Edited by: Sentry Cire on 30/06/2007 07:59:24 Edited by: Sentry Cire on 30/06/2007 07:58:59 1st Question Everyone asks is why would I buy one when I can get it for free?
A: You can download any sheet for free. But, I have yet to see any of them that give you all the info and management that these sheets give you. Also i have been told it is better than EVE Meep, I my self have never use EVE Meep. I have yet to have anyone out of the 50 or so I have sold in the past 3 days say that they are not worth buying.
Tech 1 Builder- 5mil This Tech 1 Builder is made to make complete change in your wallet, to Max Profits and Manage your ISK, Breaking Down a BPO and knowing the extact amount of Mins you need and ISK to Profit From a BPO or BPC. This Even Tells if your can afford to profit off of a BPO/BPC before buying it.
Tech 2 Builder- 40mil This Tech 2 Builder is Loaded!, Works All Tech1 and Tech2 Mods. It is built on the same base as the Tech 1 Builder. Give you the same info but, It goes as deep into the BluePrint all the way do to Adv Material. So you are able to Max Profits in everyway. Give you High Cost Material based on Useage. Nothing is like Buying a Tech 2 BPO and know that you have the ISK on hand to make ISK off of it and know what it is really worth to you.
Capital Builder- 15mil it has never been this easy to build a manage building a cap ship. Allowing you do gain almost 25% or more in profits becuase you can control you high cost materials. This Builder only can build CapShips and is Base on Components.
Rig Builder- Coming Soon!
I have been Told that posting Sceen Shots up of the Builder will help show that they are indeed a very useful tool. 1 will have to do :)

Hi there. I had a quick question about your sheets. They look very nice by the way. Are they compatible with OpenOffice's Calc?

Not too much detail is given of the shhet itself so can you answer this question please...
Does it take exact and current skills into consideration?
Thanks

You fill in the Blue areas you see on the PIC. So if you pull a info ingame of a BPO with your char all you skills are applied. The Excel sheet does the rest of the math when you input data into the blue areas. |

While the look of the spreadsheet is clean and neat, it requires that you add all the data regarding mineral build requirements and it makes assumptions that your prints are at ME:20, PL:20.
While I think it is nice that someone took their time to code this spreadsheet, the EVE community has free tools that are better then this one. I would not recommend spending isk on this.
I only reviewed the T1 sheet, but if he followed the same format with T2 and Capital, you'll find much better tools through google or in game for free.
My suggestion is www.battleclinic.com
It is a free registration and the build requirements are in a database and it allows the user to edit ME, PL levels of the print and to edit your skill levels.
The best part is that it will store all your bpo/bpc information that will be available every time you visit the build tool.
The database is updated often, sometimes immediately after a patch that affects build time or costs.
This was a nice effort, but falls short of a 5 million isk cost. I did like the clean look and pie charts. You can much better functionality for free online at www.battleclinic.com and other fan sites.

The sheet does NOT "makes assumptions that your prints are at ME:20, PL:20."
PL is not use in my sheet. It is not a factor in the goal these sheet are going for. the ME20 in the Master Page he is speaking of are ONLY "listed" command rules.
"Material Level 20 or Better. 20 is all you ever need"
is what is list under one of the 6 common rules i listed. Mining will always save you ISK.
No, with the Tech1 Builder their NO database. BPOs and BPC are not all the same for each of the player ingame. Someone may have 5ME or a Neg ME from invention, witch most sheets dont cover.
Also Most players dont like input Char info into 3rd Party apps do to account hacking. So I went basic and let you enter in the Requirments for the BPO and BPCs you have and let EVE auto apply your skills as you look at Blueprints.
The T2 and CAP sheet have all Comps. in a database and only prices need to listed in the master builder. If you have Comp BPOs or BPCs with a ME dif from Zero or not a perfect build you will need to change that BPO. But, to see if you are building these type of items you more than likly do.
Also You can always hit the save button File/Save.
After Terminus adacai plays with the Builder for a bit longer I feel that his 1st opinion may change.
Thanks for you Comments: Sentry Skills

After about half an hour, I can't agree with you Skill. You invited my feedback, and I am giving it. Battleclinic.com could care less what your character info is in EVE. There is no threat of giving up your EVE log in info.
Once you register and use the tool, the user can edit the fields for skills. Your sheet "assumes" PE5 and ME5 as skills. A better idea would have been to take the time to allow for skills that could be edited,as you did mineral prices on your first page.
The user can enter values themselves for Manufacturing Efficiency and Production Efficiency, and it remembers based on your website registration, nothing to do with your Eve log in info.
They key logger accusation for this website are not accurate. In fact, I'll link this post over there so members can respond here concerning security claims that you made.

I did not say that Battleclinic.com would do such acts as useing a keylogger. I was only say that "other" 3rd Party Apps that require info may do so. I have use Battleclinic.com guides and other tools they supply. I put Zero threat to Battleclinic.com
thanks Sentry

I build rigs, not ships/modules, but I bought the 5mil spreadsheet out of curiosity...
Top quality. Obviously done by someone who works with excel on a regular basis. I've done many rough estimates along the lines of "when will I break even if I buy this BPO", but this spreadsheet provides solid numbers instead of guesstimates. If you want to build ships from BPCs, this is for you.
Oh and how on earth'd you make that pie chart Ad Astra |

I misread. After reading again I see where you say "3rd party programs" and I agree. If anyone wants a link to a great free build toll, that requires about 1/10th of the work, visit www.battleclinic.com and use the free build tool.
(no, i have no personal monetary gain from promoting a free resource offered to the community)

I have started work on Some new sheets with a FULL database just like the old "betarmr.xml" file. Where it has a full drop down menu of the Every Item in eve.
I will add ME to the Sheets. But, PE still will NOT be a factor in my building sheets. Also I will Make a Full Item list of the BASELINE Prines. You can choose to use them or not to. This may type about a week or 2 to finsh do to having to input all items that are listed on EVE-Online.com Itemdata base in to a excel sheet. I dont have a "DB Reader" Like Fubar did.
If you have got a Sheets from You will be updated for free. Prices may increase after I finsh do to the demand of a Full Eve database.
Well i have a lot of work to do.
