My friend told me to get all my basic learning skills to level 4 and I would have much faster training times. Well, now I'm at that stage and IM flying caldari ships currently in a Cruiser. Caracal to be specific. What do I train now? I was planning on getting my missle skills, electronics, engineering, etc. all to level 4 and then once IM good with caldari and weapons start training for amarr. But I was wondering do you just find a ship you want see what you wanna hook it up with and train for that or what? Please help me I am so confused
P.S. Your help is greatly appreciated

u could play with ur caracal some more and ask ur friend for a loan to buy the advanced learning skills. 4 or 5x 4.5 mill = max of 22.5mill and bring those to lvl 3 at least. if u really plan to play a long time bring them to lvl 4.
and yea its boring cus theres so many skills u want to have and mods u want to use. ignore that urge and keep training the learning skills. once u are done, u will spend all ur time in EVE to try and find me so that u can shake my hand as a thank you for tellin u all this, cus the cut time to train after that will be great.
one more thing. ask ur friend to give u more than 22.5mill so u can buy a set of +3 implants. they go for what? 50 mill? no big deal. in the meantime u can do missions. kill missions for cash. u can raise the isk to repay the loan pretty quickly. otrherwise get a hauler [and the skills if needed, done in a day amarr comes in my mind] and find either transport missions, or a product that u can sell elsewhere for profit [ another brain fart... livestock] u can make more isk with this than missions at the start if u do it correctly. after all this contact me and ill find u a spot in our corp :D
gl mate.

Check out the thread for the program EVEMon, download it, and play around with it. It has an item database that will let you compare ships and modules, as well as a skill listing and planning feature so u can see how long it will take you to get to where you want. It's a must-have if you are going to stick around Eve for a while.
