And surely your alliance of hundreds had enough time when we moved into your system and took it over for what was it 3-4 days, to learn how to counter our 1 trick?

To be fair to BE. Were any of these engagements duels? Fights of honor w/ preset rules? No?
Ok then were they using exploits, hacks or any other tool deemed offensable by CCP? No?
Oh so they were using modules that were in game and a strategy to get kills while not being pinned down by forces that greatly outnumbered them? Oh yes.
Was this frustrating? Exceedingly so.
Lame? Well if your definition of lame is the enemy not standing still so you can hit them, then yeah totally. :D
Honestly I think there should be some limit to the effectiveness of cloaks. But while they are what they are now its a perfectly legit way to fight. Its not as if you can actually HOLD an area by cloaking, however, its excellent for the kind of harassment ops they were doing.
If you dont like cloaks, ***** to CCP not to the people using them. You're like the British *****ing about those cowardly Americans not getting out onto the field where they can be seen and shot properly.

So you'd rather the US just wipe out the civilian populations they're living in? I mean that would be the EASY way to get an enemy hiding in amongst them. Yeah, not exactly the same comparison to clear cutting trees for lines of fire...
Really though I can't believe you just compared using terrain in tactics to using human shields.

I could go into great detail about the social nuance's of different cultures and period's of history but it would be a waste of time.
I'll give you a clue though. I wasn't making a literal comparisson, i was taking a shot at pointing out how completly needless a comment about warfare in the 17th/18th century really was in context to what this thread is actually about.

Masters of the game corp on corp never has there been one to match stats of BE
CCP have continued to nerf there mods, and you can not moan about stabbs on ravens and this being the only reason they are good. Still no one can kill them, all those years of BOB moaning to CCP about BE stabs and yet without them they still win.
Time for CCP nerf on BE again ?
SHI* they better turn the servers off
