can somebody tell me a price to sell Morphite?!
i have got 493 Units on the market in Lumi for 60.000 isk the piece (yeah i know i know the price is too high) but i dont want to sell them to cheap 
erm im looking for a Raven ...somebody want to sell one? conv me please Thursday!

Currently there's no real market for morphite other than to people stocking up for the future. The new modules coming out all need only 1 or 2 pieces of it and when you consider there's 10,000s of it dotted around the various regions you can see why it's dropping in price - anything from 35K-55K seems usual now.
I've bought a substantial stack, but I'm not going to buy any more until it starts being used - judging by the market turnover most people are doing the same. Once the tech 2 ships (and maybe drones) start appearing the price will go up again - I hope :-)

Morphite in Luminaire is less than 35k a piece so 60k is a little high

Maybe not the right place to do it, to mods I apologise, but Xian, are you Red Dragon? if you are, you'll know what I'm talking about, if not, you'll just be confused :)

How do you mine morphite?
Which roids do you mine?
Where are these roids?
And I take it you need deep core mining lasers?
So I will need Deep core mining?
But where and how... Please help, I'll have the skills soon and want to put it to the test...

There's three roids that give morphite: Spodumain, Arkanor and Mecroxit. The latter can only be found deep in 0.0 space and returns the highest amount of morphite when refined. 250 mecroxit should give you 500ish morphite. Keep in mind that mercoxit can only be mined with deep core miners which requires the DCM skill. The other two ores can be mined with casual miners and return morphite among others but in much smaller quantities. One last note, mining Morphite will cause a pollution cloud which damages your ship every couple of minutes or so doing 140 damage at a time. So I suggest you fit some shieldboosters or even repairers on a cruiser. You should be fine in a BS. One very last thing, DCM miners drain a lot of cap and a lot of cpu. Coprocessors and cap power relays are really recommended.
Some more stats on mecroxit: one ore is 40 m3, so with 5/5 mining your DCM miner (base yield is 40 m3) will mine on paper 65 m3 of ore a minute which is in case of mecroxit rounded down to just one unit of mecroxit. |
