YZ-LQL Assembly Plant....battle lasted over and hour. We traded ship losses and all enjoyed. LAG was minimal (Thanks CCP)

that battle was totally friggin awesome.
Ships:
17 FA Battleships + some cruisers
16-17 M0o BS's and assorted fleets allied with them.
Battle lasted for well over an hour, unfortunately time ran out for me and I had to jet to pick my son from daycare.
Pretty sure losses were about even steven.
Awesome battle.

Agree ...all my stuff worked this time :)
It was not without problems but for me at least it was good enough to employ any tactic you wanted (which is all I ask).

afaik S*h*i*z was the only person that lost a ship and our forces captured a scorpion, so he is going to fly that now...

Good Fight Guys, it was long and hard, but there was a clear winner.... I beleive we lost 1 ship to FA's many...
Thank you to CCP also i beleive, as the server performed brilliantly, with many pilots experiencing only minor lag in a 35-40 BS fight

God loads of Fraps vids - and someone has granted me some FTP space - so in about 24 hours - I'll be putting up a load of vids - including that battle. we count 1 loss on our side (replaced with a scorp abandoned by the Fountain side - thanks John) and we have fraps proof of 5 ships lost to Fountain and visual conformation of at least another 3. Totally awesome battle and yes, thanks CCP, the lag was much better and disappeared near the end.
Good Battle and good game.

Yea was an awesome battle, dont know what ccp did but the lag wasn't that bad. modules activated and when ppl warped out and back in the screen loaded in secs.

Why you keep saying thanks to CCP? Did they do something to help? Or is it just a general thanks because it actully wasn't laggy that one battle.

I don't know if they did anything or not but it was much more playable than usual. Good fight all around.

If you mean trade ships as in we traded 1 apoc for 1 scorpion... you are right.
As in, our losses were 1 apoc, however, in what has to be the most remarkable twist, I joined some m0o guys in engaging James Baker at a gate. James was going down, and suddenly, near the end of his ship... ejected.
His ejection was noticed immediately, and we ceased fire on his scorpion immediately.
James was able to warp away (probably with all implants (only reason I can think of why you'd eject in a desperate gamble to avoid being podded)).
Regardless, a member of m0o warped to a safe spot, returned, claimed his scorpion, and returned it to the safe spot.
We *captured* a scorpion.
So, we lost an Apoc, and captured a scorpion. All in all, one of the best battles yet...

The battle this evening was KICK*SS!! Your ship/modules/guns actually reacted when you clicked on 'em!
Imagine if all of those 40+ BS fights could be like this!!

That is an ausome ScreenShot... I can't wait to see fraps for this battle heh. I'm curious though... how can a 1 hour battle like that result in so few ship losses?
If a mere 8 battleships on Side A lit off 1 volley of artillery(be it laser, projectile, or hybrid) on a single target.... It would probably kill even a tanked battleship.
