Edited by: Niccolado Starwalker on 02/07/2007 07:01:58 Hi, got a question
Yesterday I lost connection to the EVE Online game. I did not however loose connection to the internet. And - EVE online where still up-and-running. So i cant blame CCP I just could not access the game (Server status unknown it said) or this homepage. I know the game where up, since I checked some killboards. As I said, I could access the internet on any page as usual. Except for anything that where about EVE (The game and the webpage)
I am from Norway, and my ISP is telenor ADSL. And I have had this problem for like a few weeks ago too.. I wonder if anyone else (from Norway) have had this problem?
Or, if CCP or anyone else who have a clue on internet know what this problem where about? I tried restart my router, ADSL modem and computer, with same result. Firewall where turned off. on router and computer. The access to the page and game returned though after like 4-5 hours.

There's been some problems with Telenor and Eve lately - I know some of our users have been posting that they've experienced it at least. Myself I use Nextgentel and haven't had any problems with it.

What you can try to do is run a ping plot on TQ (here) and try to see where the packet-loss appears.

Great! Thanks for the help!!
There is nothing more frustrating then knowing theres a problem, but you cant find a reason for it!

As Ivan here reccomended me to run PingPlotter, I have done that for a few days. I have unfornately not collected the data since I started to use it, put this picture shows the true tendencies of the connection: 100% packet losses! Please, can anyone give me any more information about this case, and what should I do? This have been going on for WEEKS now!!
Rite now, i cant get a large enough dose of EVE-online to satisfy or quell my hunger!
Thanks for any advice!

Same thing here, losing connection at random, status unknown, the game purges all my settings on every login.

HAHAHA you can honestly say "it's a problem with Telenor" and not have a heavy heart?
My Corporation is spread out all across the world and more than a few times last week this exact same thing happened to almost everyone in the Corp at least once (happened 3 times in 2-3 days to me) and we're all using different ISPs from different countries and areas.
This has to do with the CCP's piece of crap servers. Been to Jita lately? The 15-20 second lag from every action won't go away. I couldn't even CHAT in Jita because it wouldn't let me send the messages (because it took 15-20 seconds to do everything and it was currently *doing something*).
FIX THE SERVERS. Don't blaim the wrong people

Try to run a tracert and you'll see that you're actually going through telenor's net. ---

Lots of people all over (Australia, Ireland, Wales, Norway, Sweden) are reporting this problem, and still no news item from CCP that they are trying to fix it....

And where do YOU have your brain? In your ASS?? I have proof really that this is not a CCP problem! That means, if I want this problem fixed, you have to put your accusations where it belongs, and not be as stupid as you blaming the WRONG group of people! This is a ISP problem! See my screeny in a earlier post in this thread! 100% packet loss on TELENOR!
