Over an hour long, pretty lag free (modules only about 5-10 seconds to activate, occasionally more).
Confirmed kill lists to follow but I know we got S.hi.zuko good and then lost a couple as m0o jumped in to save him.

We lost one ship, ****uko. We gained one ship, a scorpion (somoene ejected).
We killed around 5-6 battleships.

Edited by: Omniwar on 21/01/2004 01:01:51 We lost 1 ship, captured 1 FA ship since the pilot ejected so basicly we lost about nothing.
FA lost 5 BS¦s taken on fraps, we think 3 more BS¦s at gates when trying to run from the system, several cruisers and frigates.
But yes, it was a good fight with little or no lag, just sux to have missed the first 30 minutes or so Spawn of the Devil

The Battle - 1
The Battle - 2
At one point it looked like the FA were going to drive m0o and co off... But m0o called in reinforcements and successfully drove off the FA force.
Good fight... for both sides... -------------------------------------------

Edited by: Stavros on 21/01/2004 01:05:29 Out kill list is as follows:
zenst - scorpion
dognutz - megathron
abominable - tempest
chirs civre - scorpion
john prescot - dominix
plough - caracal
james baker - scorpion (captured)
poddings for all were unknown, so assumed escaped.
very nice battle, nice attitude from both sides, lag was absolutely minimal from my perspective. guns a little slow to reload, but other than that no discernable problems.
got a bit hairy for us when we split the force to complete the capture of james baker's scorpion mid-battle. But a heroic flanking action led by the rev won us the day!
and just for stan I have to say that due to their stalwart defense tonight, FA has risen above the CFS in the "m0o ownz j00" alliance league table :D

Edited by: StiZum Hilidii on 21/01/2004 01:14:18 Great battle guys... for me as marshall of the FA forces tonight it went like this....
Gang starts coming together. Scouts locate moo gathering at station. Gang count comes to 17 at the time. we prepare for battle. I try to get guys to give me reasons not to fight. Every single person in gang screamed attack. We warped in. 1 hour later i signal a retreat while hearing 1 moo at gate. Several fa members jump to gate and pod a moo then we got to safe points.
Was one of the best battles i have ever taken part in on eve. great fighting moo again. BS almost replaced already. Tomorrow is another fight and we will be taking it to moo again and again. they are a very worthy enemy

I would also like to thank James Baker for providing S.hizuko with a replacement ship. Truly noble of you Sir

Damnit, I still can't get to sleep, was too much fun! Snuck back on PC to see what others replied.
It was pretty much stalemate at the station for an hour, anyone badly hit usually warped out and came back in better shape, worked for both sides.
The punches were mostly exchanged from 70-120km (does anything hurt even moderately from 120?) and think we only lost Zenst who was not sure how it happened.
We lost the ships at the end mainly, someone warped to Serpentis gate to get away and found Emperor there, Emperor locked him down and with our dude asking for help we warped to him. While warp was engaged our guy got away so I met Emperor alone at the gate and traded 2 punches with him.
He then warped out but in comes S.hizuko and 3 of FA so it was 4 vs 1 I think (one FA kestrel). We locked him down and ate him fast from the 5km range or so.
Just as we are trying to target his pod whole of m0o jump in and of course at 5km range or so. 3 of FA weren't fast enough to escape so we lost them.
What I found amusing was Emperor of Spartan leading us to Serpentis gate and then us getting S.hizuko (who robbed Spartans hangar) killed there. Poetic justice?
And yeah, should have happened 1-2 hours earlier

Sounds like a fun fight.
Only 1 thing? WTF is it with people ejecting from their ships????? That's like what, 3-4 for m0o? I just can't figure this out. If it's the implants thing, I mean, if they can lock utr pod b4 it warps, it doesn't matter really when they see it. And uh, no insurance isk? Just makes no sense. Evolution..... Just when you thought you were winning.

I don't get it too, maybe they want to selfdestruct the ship and in the heat of the moment they eject instead?
I would blow up, who gives a rats ass about implants. You shouldn't fight if your afraid of losing items.
I wish i could disable that feature, had 2 or 3 times i almost ejected my ship in 1.0 space with 20 people around me while using the right menu.

About the ejecting thing. I don't know people know this but you can STILL self-destruct your ship after you have ejected from it.
In fact then it happens instantly instead of you having to wait a minute or whatever it is.
So if your ship is down to nothing eject from it, right click on it from your pod, choose self-destruct (not the pod) and warp away. Takes you about 1 second to do it and it happens instantly so you guarantee that the nice stuff on your ship does not fall into enemy hands.

Call it what you want, i gained more than i lost, plus spartan have been re-paid for what happened So they can continue to fight alongside us....
