OMFG, a thread about me? I'm honored  .
I rather like these new sigs myself, I originally couldn't think of content for new ones, and then it occurred to me to just condense my opinions on various topics into sig form.
I'll keep adding to the collection as the threads in General Discussion inspire them...

I guess they got removed because the mods didn't like one of them, so they had to remove them all.
They've done that to me also.
If I were to guess, I'd say its the "STFU" sig.

I also really like Dark Shikari's signatures. I don't know why, but even as a four day noob (having lurked the EVE forums for months) - moving and bouncing robots are now synonimous with Dark Shikari for me.

Crumplecorn's are more professional IMO. He seems to be trying to get as many as I have too
He probably does them with Photoshop, I make most of mine in paint. 
Plus, Suiseiseki automatically makes anything funny.

Someone asked for the link to see them all (besides the mods I mean), I posted it before, it's here: DesuSigs. I assume it's ok to post that, since it's already in the thread.
Anyway, Anime>All, Rozen Maiden>All, etc etc. I've always liked the way anime characters look when superimposed on EVE backgrounds, that's why I did it in my sigs.

Yeah, but most people don't butcher the logo in the process
I doubt it's the STFU one, if I had a penny for everytime someone said STFU in GD, I'd have a lot of obsolete currency.
Who knows, maybe they have a more subtle reason... maybe I flipped Suisei Seki and forgot to fix her eyes in one of them...

I checked the dimensions and file size of all of them, including that one. Anyway, when it's something simple they say it in your signature, they only get you to e-mail them if it's more serious.
If it is content related, that last one narrowed it down to:
- Black backgrounds
- Suisei Seki
- Large emoticons
- Sadness
