Hey all. this is abut the twelfth day of playing so if you will ignore my ignorance on some topics 
Im am currently training up towards a caldari interceptor, then to an interdictor. I am also training all my WMD/WD/ cloak skills. Hoping to be able to PVP in this maybe.
Anyone thats willing to help, how should i set up for an interdictor? EM platform? Speed? passive/active shield tanking?. Include a setup if possible. thanks

When you make statements like that ('get a clue') at least post the right stuff. Claw = Minmatar, Crow = Caldari.

Crow is a good interceptor - the flycatcher will take practice to fly though.
My advice to you is put as much speed on these ships as possible. Also train your capacitor skills so you can keep your microwarp drive running forever. Other than that, you have to learn it yourself, you have chosen a highly specialised and difficult class of ships to fly, but they are the most fun >:)

I have taken similar path with my toon.
First I piloted crow which is a decent ship then I moved to matar. Moving to another race is not easy but matar favors shield tank and missiles so caldari to matar is not difficult.
Matar heading was in purspose of flying vagabond, stiletto and rapier/huggin.
My first stop in matar was stiletto and jaguar. I really liked both ships. Stiletto is best gang ceptor with a decent price. I hardly flew crow then.
Also sabre is best interdictor, highly reccomended.
Nowadays I undock mostly in sabre or rapier and sometimes with vaga.
Very fun ships to fly, just my 2cents.

The Crow is the ONLY ceptor which can fully benefit of exclusively training all areas relevant to ceptors, then use the best mods (Gistii-A MWD + Domination disruptor) and rigs, and then finally create a Snake-based clone. It means that after 6 months training you still will be able to continue to train skills and notice how you become more and more effective.
You end up flying a mosquito worth over 1 bil between the ship and your pod, and it's probably the funniest ship to fly in EVE. You'll go faster than lil T2 drones, you'll orbit our of reach of heavy noses, gun boats won't be able to track you, you can break through camps flying at over 10 Km/sec, and missiles will hit you for 0 damage even when fired by players with maxed skills. You will orbit most ceptors at speeds they don't even reach when MWD'ing in straight line, and you will remain outside the locking range of many frigs.
Besides, except Curses, Rapiers and Huginns, no ship will be able to engage you effectively. You can even take down a lone gank BS, it just takes time.
