haw hard can it be to open tha client and see if you get the popup that tells you to download something?
or if it says: 'online (1k+)'

If it had been working reliably for the past couple of years, it would be easy.

This hasn't worked properly right after DT for as long as I can remember. It either hangs at "CHECKING STATUS" or it shows "STATUS OK, 0 ONLINE" for a long time while many people are logged on.

Yeah, I'm getting a "Status: Incompatible (Protocol)" message, I've got the correct build (according to the patch download screen) but can't log in. Anyone know any way to fix this? Is it just gonna be a case of redownload the client (have no wish to do this AGAIN)?
