Yes its another of those post patch bugs but it renders my eve client useless, and I am unable to fix it.
Anyone got a fix?

Close EVE client, re-open EVE client, patch when it tells you to.

There was a patch today.
Download the patch. Please pay more attention to the forums and the message of the day prior to patches.

I manually downloaded it and I get a server status: unknown, I'm guessing the servers aren't up, or have I done something wrong?

The Tranquility server is live. Try closing your client and reopening it again.

Listen I was just asking if anyone had the same problem and when I tried to log on it did not give me the "Option" of downloading the patch so frankly how about walking a few miles in my shoes before chiding me...
