What's the point of having a background if you keep your windows/apps maximized and use alt-tab to switch between them?

This is my desktop ....
lady Aja your desktop looks so ... strange. All that many bars, graphs and whatnot make your desktop look like hollywood like puters that actors just hack by mashing keys randomly in the keyboard.
Otherwise I like the color.

Decent-ish free (GNU GPL) CPU only (multi-core fully supported) video encoder, H.264 (x264) / MPEG4 (FFmpeg).
Pretty decent for quickly compressing all that huge hi-res FRAPS footage for long-term storage (might need one of the nightly builds for that to properly work, not sure for FRAPS footage decoding to be always supported in the latest "uber-stable" builds).
P.S. I have no idea what the thoughts behind the icon selection process went...

Not trolling, you can actually eat them.
Well, not exactly eat, more like suck/lick, since they're positively dripping with nectar. There were quite a few of those trees near my grandparent's house and (once upon a time, back when I was a kid in Soviet-like Romania where access to sweets was not exactly common) I used to chew quite a few of them.
Nowadays I prefer the honeybees to do the grunt-work.
The honey you get from JUST that particular tree flower is absolutely to die for, very sweet with a nice flavour and a faint smell of the original flower, quite transparent and lightly golden-coloured.

rain meter 2.1 and BlueVision_V0_2_Alpha_by_g 3xter theme. as far as i know its this one colour.
might help searchign for rainmeter desktops red. |
