Hope everyone had a great holiday season but its time to get back to business.... As I was chillin on my couch in the HED station looking over my stats, I realized that in the month of December I killed more White Noise caps and sub-caps in the south than the 5,000 goonies and their pets running around the north have so far.... Wudup wit daht?..
Seeing as not many 0.0 players can deal with CAOD anymore, I had to go back to my traditional sources (Kug / Eve24) and ingame intel channels to figure out what was sparking my killing spree this time..
As suspected, Goonies and their pets decided to attack another alliance that was already falling apart and werent actually looking for anyone to fight them as is what Mitini said in his kick off speach. So what now? What to do with all these goonies that have been logging in to shoot nothing but structures for the last couple weeks so that Razor can have their old space back and Goons can have more Tech?
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say.........when in doubt.........whip it out!!! That's right!! Pull out "old faith ful" and give it another good shake.... Yup, have Mitini spin Raiden into being BoB somehow!! He knows there has to be some excuse to keep the party train going in the north since Raiden would just farm Razor like belt rats for as long as they held space next door....
While I head north in my Hound of doom, I was hoping I could get some additional feedback on the following questions that might help me better understand whats going on up there:
1) With Razor having been a good goon pet so far thus promised by Mittini to get Tenal back, which up and coming goon pet will be given the burden to reside in Branch?
2) When will TEST stop pretending to be on bad terms with Goonies and just admit they are Goonie pets and will need there help to take Vale of the Silent?
3) Will Goonies become "the new 0.0 leading Allaince of 2012"? WTF does this even mean?...
4) Will Mitini be "helicopter dicking" anyone this time around?...
5) I was told that some goon pets are now asking where all the tech income is going since the ship reimbursment cost to date equals about half a days woth of tech. How iwll all the pets be rewarded moving forward?
I will lead off with these five questions and see what I come up with along the way. I know most of the leet intel happens on other forums but for those that are nrevous about gettting computer aids from them, I figured I would give CAOD a little nudge as this war heats up....

I don't think you ever did answer my question a month or two ago, which was to politely inquire as to why it is you've chosen to devote an inordinate amount of effort towards obsessing over the doings of the alliance to which I belong. I distinctly recall that I openly admitted to whatever disparaging thing you had to say about me and mine, and then posing you that question. Is my memory failing me? If you did reply succinctly, then I beg your pardon.

You know, reading the leaked alliance mail that got posted on the goonfleet forums a couple of days ago calls to mind similar mails which were posted during the invasion of Fountain last winter. In both cases I am drawn to wonder why exactly the alliance level leadership wishes for the common pilot to consult individual corporation leaders for information about where to go, what to do, and all of that. It just baffles me. If the information is so secret that you cannot risk it being transmitted over an alliance-wide mail to everyone, then why would you be willing to allow individual CEOs to disseminate it to the masses? On the other hand, if you have nothing useful to say in your alliance-wide mail then why are you going through the pomp and circumstance of sending one at all? Perhaps this is just because I have known no other sizable alliance than goonfleet, but it just seems so alien and inefficient for me to think of receiving information this way. It just seems like there are ways to go about it that are much better and far less likely to cause confusion.
Do the leaderships of other organisations simply not presume that they're leading a herd of functionally incompetent cats?

Only we are so bad at Eve we have to get our information in easily accessible posts via forums so that we can actually show up for ops and such. White Noise is so good they don't even need to have ops at all. |

Thats pretty sweet that the highlight of your invasion so far is reading corp emails. Mitini is living up to his promise fo sho........no one will be gettin any good fights outta goonies....
White Noise is a group of great pvp'er that know when to fight and when to wait things out. Branch is some of the worst space to have if not surrounded by blues. They are drawing you goonies into the swamp where you and your pets will get tired out and start to cry for TEST to comes save you....

I think so, yes! I cannot speak for everyone else, but I've always found the drama and politics related to EVE Online to far surpass its game play in terms of entertainment value. My activity on the forums is a testament to this, as perusing and commenting on various threads during boring lectures or insomnia-fueled late nights have kept me occupied for hundreds more hours than have actually playing with Internet spaceships; but, I am admittedly drawn to plot, story and interaction more than I am to big numbers and explosions. To be fair, I am quite lackluster at this video game, and at most others, but that doesn't keep me from watching, laughing, and chatting with the peanut gallery.

I dare say you would be singing a different tune about the exact same situation were the individual entities named in different orders or the circumstances reversed, but then I suppose everyone has their biases. I, personally, am not a fan of veal.
