Quote: One of these tools will be is an application capable of logging in with a series of special clients, say 300-500 at one time, to simulate a variety of actions. This can range from a simulated fleet battle where you have 2 sides firing on various targets, or to hundreds of people doing more "day to day" activities in a system, ie. Jita.
On a sarcastic side note: CCP will be the biggest macroers in Eve with this. Immagine 500 accounts doing your mining for you

Well this couldn't have come any later I'm afraid. Every major patch in the last year has added new sorts of lag, and none have fixed it in any noticeable way. I hear that we used to be able to have 100v100 battles that were actually playable????? And now with this new patch, we get desynched trying to play 60v60, and 25v25 is so laggy I'd almost rather mine Veldspar. And this isn't even empire wars, that is another whole level of lag. What do we get in exchange for the game becoming unplayable? At least for 0.0 alliances, and I know I heard you say that's where you want the game at. We get more "content..." Like heat...... and other crap. I think it's great that you are working on adding more stuff, but you are ruining big battles. And to quote an alliance m8, it seems that your way of dealing with said lag is to try to eliminate fleet battles, and if you succeed, that will be a sad day in Eve.
Just please fix the lag. That is all I want, no more content till it is fixed is absolutely fine. And don't fool yourselves into thinking that the next patch will fix it lmao, you obviously can't debug half as fast as you can write. Take your time and fix it. -----------

Im think its really good to see this kind of blog, and Im always impressed by CCP's commitment to listening to their fan base, the tester-chat sounds like a really good thing.
People can complain as much as they like about whatever pet issue they are behind at the time, but on the whole y'all know the devs do good work or else you wouldn't be playing their game.
*looks forward to fewer bugs and raises a tankard to player/dev co-operation in finding them*

Originally by: Tanis. Though I don't see the Known issues list being broken down by build number, it's just too much work to track/update that, there are some plans right now to start tagging issues with something like "wil be fixed in Revelations 2.3" or something like that, assuming that a fix is ready for it, that way people can see which of these issues has already been sorted and when the fix will make its way to TQ.
How's about just removing the ones that have been fixed, or marking them as fixed.
How am I supposed to know if the bug is still there?

Never let the macroers get hold of this program. Fear the Ibis of doom!

What about a "My Bugs" page as part of eve insider - when you're logged in you can open this page up and see what bugs you have open, their status etc (possibly put a create bug report link to make it easy to navigate to). Then if you need to supply more information you can add to it.
Possibly expand this so that the known issues page allows you to attach logfiles to (some) bugs (like the dsync issue) so that lots of bug reports don't need creating - or making it so that public bugs where you need feedback/logfiles can be added to your "My Bugs" page (maybe the users only see these if they have created a bug report in the past - so you won't get swamped, and you subtly obtain a userbase of people who can assist the bughunters?) ========================================
