Well we waited around for an event to start from when the news was announced to 4 hours later and nothing.
Anyone got any news about this event? was it cancelled? is the news in advance for a event thats eventually going to take place?
If anyone has any info about this would be great thanks!

They are getting ready to open up Jove space and a safe route to get there.
That's my guess. á

What? Surely not more news that has zero affect on the average Eve player?

No, they're really rogue, and need a good killing is my guess.
Gonna take quite a crew though.
If this is not the case, then I dunno. .

I'll bet ya that the rouge commander is a Minmatar and is going out there to cleanse the area of the foul presence of the Amarr and their collaborating scum.
Either that or they are surprisingly ready to open up Jove space....yeah right

Quite clear to me, they are hunting the tech2 BP thief from the research facility.
Remember it was said to be a high placed executive or something ?
Well guess why the commander went rogue ?
He didnt agree with CONCORD command letting the filthy stealing Caldari get away with it because of the possible Gallente-Caldari political repercussions

Ten to one this is an introduction to the "Free for All" station which should pop up in 0.0 soon.

Dunno what they were up to, but my nose tells me it was something big. Bigger than what we would expect for even such a fleet.

Edited by: Grey Area on 28/01/2004 13:28:19 Someone mentioned earlier up "not something else that will have zero effect on the average EVE player".
Well of COURSE that is the case. Future generations of EVE citizens will not hear stories about the AVERAGE EVE player...they will be stories of the courageous, the determined, and, doubtlessly, the monumentally stupid.
I'm an average player. The only way I'll get into a plot line is as part of the third category. Speaking as someone who has lost six Cruisers and who's final word before ejecting is invariably "D'oh!", I'm surprised I'm not part of a story already, though not in a good way you understand.
EVE rewards effort. Sometimes however, you'll expend effort and get nothing in return. Occasionally, just occasionally, you may happen across something that turns a tide of events. It's just like the real world, and that's what makes it great.
Oh and by the way, September 11th was on the news world wide, but by and large the information "will have zero effect on the average human". ========================================= * I'm ALLOWED to cheat. I'm a STARSHIP. * ========================================= |
